WE gather to Live. WE gather to Love. WE gather to Serve.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Many of you know that for the past 2 and a half years, I’ve started singing at @watersedge_lc in lake Charles, La. I’ve never found a pastor who is so real and down to earth than Pastor Tony. Him and the friends that I’ve made here at the church have seriously changed my life for the better. I wouldn’t be where i am without them. This Sunday we are celebrating 19 years for WE 🙌🏼 If you’ve been thinking about attending a church that is no judgement, welcoming and has you leaving with positivity, grace and full of faith- PLEASE do yourself a favor and join us this Sunday. We will be worshiping for both services and PTs message always hits you right where it’s needed. Dead things come alive, yall. It’s never too late to try out a service and see for yourself! We will be right there with you. #watersedgelc #lakecharles #worship #church

Songs with themes of freedom/abolition plus an incredible message. It wasn’t religious people who were flocking to hear Jesus, it was notorious sinners. We’re not guard dogs. We’re a search & rescue team. Jesus was friends to sinners because they were lonely & hurting. The religious were too focused on who he was hanging out with rather than why he was hanging out with them.

Are you tired of seeing all the news stories of adults hurting children? Me too! In response, @swlaabolitionists is holding Child Safety Seminars in SWLA. We have adult survivors of child abuse, survivors of online exploitation, local stories of child trafficking, representatives from local agencies & parents coming to share how you can help better protect the children around you. We will have resource tables as well. There will be FREE CHILDCARE for elementary aged & below. Kids older are welcome to attend the event. The event is FREE TO ATTEND, but we are looking for sponsors so we can keep it free & raise some funds for the anti-trafficking work of SWLA Abolitionists. More info can be found in the graphics. PLEASE SHARE!!!!
