Asian Women Run member sent this and it’s great to receive such a positive message. I’d encourage anyone thinking of starting running to do it, join us and you won’t regret it. As a group our aim is to encourage, motivate and inspire many more to move whether you walk, run or jog no one gets left behind.🙏🏽🏃🏽‍♀️

“I’ve been taking on a 10k run every month, and it’s been such an incredible journey so far. I feel really fortunate to have found Asian Women Run and to have met its founder, Min, who has supported and encouraged me through every race.🧡

“Since starting, I’ve even managed to achieve a personal best—cutting nearly 6 minutes off my time from my very first race, which feels amazing.❤️

“I truly don’t think I’d have reached this level of confidence and fitness without the support I’ve received from AWR. The team spirit is incredible—there’s always someone there to cheer you on, which makes every run that much more special.”🤎

I really wanted to shout out @hersh1010 on his amazing half marathon on Sunday which it was the first time and smash3d it. So proud to be coaching you and helping you get them results which I see you killing it every session.

Thinning only one of many as he got hyrox this weekend aswell and it goes to show anything is possible when u pit ur mind to it and have the right coach helping you through the stages. Not saying im the best but I can say I know and have skills to help people achieve their goals.

Dont be stop achieving them goals and remember it's never to late to achieve the results you want.
Come on people share, like and comment to let people know the help is there if needed. Let's not gatekeep but share this to the people around you.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks. Last weekend I ran Bedford 10 mile and had a disaster to be honest. I was late, and forgot my gels in my bag and had to go without. It was really hard and felt very deflated for the last couple of miles.

So to cheer myself up I entered the Watford Half Marathon last minute to try and get a good race in. I just wished I’d looked at the elevation first! Very hilly but a fun run, and I beat my previous half marathon PB. So overall pretty pleased with that.

This week is fundraising week, so please consider making a donation if you can. Every pound helps!

First half marathon of 2026 done and dusted! 🏅
Watford threw all the weather and hills at me, it was cold, wet, and seriously hilly, but it was a great test for my other hilly races coming up (@brightonmarathonweekend and Race To The King @thresholdtrailseries)

Had my usual runner lateness chaos (overhydrated = emergency loo stop 😅), but made it just in time. Shoutout to my girls from @blackgirlsdorunuk for the pre-run hype!

Fuelled up with my favourite savoury pre-run meal (rice with veggies and tofu, also made a quick oil-free peanut satay, because we didn’t need gut drama 🤸🏾‍♀️) and stuck to my electrolyte magic formula throughout the race ⚡️

Trainers definitely took a beating (note to self: no white on a muddy race day 🙈) but the post-run vegan sausage roll from @dunnsbakery made it all worth it.

Follow along for more running, vegan eats, and of course, all the Brazilian vibes 🇧🇷💚

First race of 2026 is officially less than 24 hours away!!

I’m back where it all started, nearly 2 years ago I began my running journey here + a year ago exactly I took on this race as my first half marathon!

Feels like such a full circle moment - even though Berlin half is my main goal I’m excited what I can do out there tomorrow, I’m not putting any goal on tomorrow I just wanna go out there and enjoy it!!

Let’s go!! ⚡️

First race of 2026 is confirmed!!!

Watford Half - 1st Feb 2026 !

Some of you guessed correctly on my story I put up a few days ago - this race was the first one I properly prepared for + first half marathon so to be able to go back and see where it all started for me is such a huge circle moment!

No time in mind just running to enjoy + appreciate how far I’ve come 🙏🏼 ( not looking forward to the hills 🫠)

My next positive of 2025 Is my first Postpartum Half Marathon:

Watford Half Marathon
3rd Female / 1st Age Category
1:27:25

I wasn’t feeling too nervous about this race, mainly because I knew it was a tough race and my first half back.

I felt absolutely incredible during this run, which totally surprised me! The only thing I found was I felt heavy but I didn’t let that bother me.

I had no idea I was in the top 3 women until I crossed the line, something that made my first postpartum half even more special.

It’s amazing what our bodies can do, especially after creating a human!

This will be a race I will forever remember ❤️
