I do love finding somewhere lovely to stop for a treat when we're out and about!

This week's Friday Find is Wavecrest at Lizard Point in Cornwall, where we stopped for a little something to eat.

And just look at that chocolate cake! 😍🍰

Of course, we couldn't resist a cream tea either. Because when you're in Cornwall, it would be rude not to, wouldn't it?

Sometimes it's the little stops for something tasty that make a day out even better.

Are you more of a cream tea or chocolate cake person? I'm not sure I could choose! 😂

Day 3 of cornwall and it was travel home day. It was an early start as mummy couldnt sleep with her insomnia But before we left, i visited the lizard again and this time I got to see some water dogs, which my pawrents say I look like, I got to dry off and have a sausage whilst the huwmans had breakfast in @wavecrestlizardpoint 100000% recommend the sausages then I stayed outside with daddy whilst mummy went in to @mungolils , then to the journey home, let's say i was very tired from all my adventures over the weekend and I had a few power naps on the way home, but once I did get home i slept for England!!

I cannot wait to go back to Cornwall and explore even more!

Pressing pause in Cornwall. 🌊☀️

A few weeks back we had a much needed and long overdue trip to the Lizard to spend time with my family. Coastal walks, sea swims, Rattler 🐍🤤, an inordinate amount of good food, and lots of quality time - what more can a girl want. 🩵

📍 Kynance Cove ~ living up to its reputation! Spend a day exploring Kynance Cove and beyond. Start by parking up at Kynance Cove National Trust car park, then set off on the walk to Lizard Point - about an hour depending on your pace. Along the way you’ll pass some gorgeous spots, including a secluded stretch of steps leading down to a hidden beach. At Lizard Point, stop for a coffee or bite to eat at @wavecrestlizardpoint with stunning sea views. Then head back the way you came to Kynance Cove, grab your swimming gear from the car, and make your way down for a dip in the most beautiful, tropical-blue waters. There’s a café at the cove too, if you fancy something before heading home. A perfect way to spend the day 🐠 (see the last slide for the route on Strava)

🌤️🌊😍 HAPPY SUNNY TUESDAY! 😍🌊🌤️

Good morning my lovelies… Rise and Shine!

I thought I would share with you some more of my recent Cornwall moments, in some of my very favourite local places.
This walk across Lizard Head was a couple of weekends ago now.
It started from the car park Village, through a field or three, taking me to Lizard Point, which is always so lovely.
The scenery is amazing, the fresh breeze even on the hottest of days… and the coastal pathways leading you to ‘Lisa’s Destination’ point @wavecrestlizardpoint makes it a perfect Sunday! Please tell me you’ve eaten/drank here? Just look at their food… this was a cheese and caramelised onion panini and it’s just SSOOOOO gooood! 🙊😍 They are such a lovely hard working team and even now they have hit holiday season, everything is still honestly at the same wonderful standard!

Well… the sun is pretty shaded this morning here, but it’s still very mild which is perfect.
I’ve been on an overnight care shift, which finishes late morning, then I’m back here to do it all over again at 4.30pm…. So today’s few hours free I’ll be enjoying an hour in the garden, doing some washing and cuddling Kylo to pieces, who HATES us being apart! 😢🐕🐾🏡🌊

Excellent lunch @wavecrestlizardpoint
Crevettes, salad and fries for me. Succulent and sweet. Fellow diners had mozzarella and pesto ciabatta and fish bites with salad and slaw. All meals were delicious and you just can't beat that view.
Excellent service and great value for money.
