The Shantae LRG card collection so far. I think the collection might be complete, except that @limitedrungames are releasing a new big set this Friday! I need to pick those up and throw them in there. LRG are releasing Shantae Risky's Revenge on the PS5 tomorrow, and even though I'll most likely be passing on it, I'll be picking up other stuff they are putting out like the cap, hoodie, and t-shirt. They are also releasing releasing 2 Shabtae skateboard decks! Pretty crazy stuff, haha.

Again, Fighter Pass 2 will come to a close once the final DLC Fighter is revealed when the time comes, finally ending SSBU's development and ending the Smash Bros franchise as a whole. However, fans STILL want the characters they always wanted from the SSB4 days but they can't. Why is that? Here's why:

1. They still want Shadow, Waluigi and Isaac to make the cut but they're still assist trophies. Smash Bros fans never face the fact that a character who is an assist trophy never gets a true playable spot in the roster.

2. Waluigi will never be playable. Waluigi is a spin-off-only character in the Mario franchise. I know what you're thinking: "Isn't Joker, Wario AND Daisy spin-off characters too?" Well, Persona dropped its SMT tagline off their franchise since P4G and became its own separate series than a spin-off. Wario and Daisy were actually in a mainline canon Mario game which is Super Mario Land for the Game Boy. Waluigi was made by Camelot who makes the Mario sports spin-offs, verifying Waluigi as a spin-off character.

3. Characters who only appear in first-party consoles such as Xbox and PlayStation (or characters only appears in both except for Nintendo) can't join. Sorry Halo, Ratchet and Clank and NieR Automata fans, your favorite militant astronaut, lombax and toy robot and 'breaking the dress code' android waifu can't join. Only characters who did appear in Nintendo consoles and many others can join. Kazuya was in cuz his games were in Nintendo platforms i.e. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for the Wii U, Advance for GBA and 3D Prime for the 3DS.

4. Comic book characters can't join. Jump Force is a game that combines all Shonen Jump manga/anime characters in the game but for Smash Bros, they don't count. Only characters who appeared in games does.

5. Sora is co-owned by Disney. The greedy and h*m*s*xual p*ssies themselves also have the rights of the Kingdom Hearts franchise than just Square Enix. Sora would be interesting but he's very rare to join.

My #Shantae boxset arrived, along with the Shantae GBC switch port, Risky’s Revenge & 1/2 Genie Hero! I’ve already started the Game Boy Colour version & damn, it’s so hard!! Cannot believe how much Pirates Curse has shot up in value, glad I got it during the LRG Blowout Sale a couple years ago

I heard a rumor a few weeks back about a new #ps5 #shantae @limitedrungames release! I hope they release the first one so I can complete this sealed set 🥲😅. I gave up on the switch set due to the price on Pirate’s Curse. Was happy to get these a while back from @ogcollectibles. Hope everyone finishes the week strong, weekend and game time are almost here ✌🏻

Some people are bummed that Shantae is only a Mii character in Super Smash Bros. and not a fighter, but those of us who have been with Shants from the humble GBC days know what an honor it is and are immensely proud of how far we have come. Congratulations to everyone at @wayforwardtech, who knew the potential of Shantae and never gave up on her. The sky’s the limit!
