**NURTURE | The Art of Seasonal Skincare**

As summer gives way to cooler days, your skin deserves a little extra care.

NURTURE is a rich, restorative moisturizer designed to replenish hydration, nourish the skin barrier, and comfort skin after months of summer sun and environmental exposure.

Beautiful for both day and night, NURTURE is especially lovely as an evening ritual—allowing your skin to feel deeply moisturized, soft, and cared for by morning.

Because healthy skin isn't just about the season. It's a lifestyle.

Style doesn’t have an expiration date. Trying too hard to look young might.
One of the pleasures of being over 60 is that you no longer need fashion to tell you who you are.
By now, you know your body. You know what fits. You know the colors that flatter you, the clothes that make you stand a little taller, and—perhaps most importantly—the things you can leave on the rack.
I’ve learned what works for me. I wear cashmere and lightweight cotton sweaters and polos almost year-round. They’re comfortable, they breathe, they always look good, and they move easily from work into whatever happens afterward. Change the shoes, add a jacket, or simply leave things as they are. Good clothes should work with your life, not complicate it.
There’s also something rather wonderful about finally being able to buy less, but better.
Spend on the jacket you’ll wear for ten years. The beautifully cut trousers. The cashmere. The shoes that actually get better with age. If you want to play with a trend, have fun with it—but that’s rarely where the serious money needs to go.
Quality can seem expensive when you buy it. Cheap clothing becomes expensive when you keep replacing it.
At this age, I’m not particularly interested in dressing younger.
I’m interested in dressing well.
And occasionally carrying a few shopping bags home is simply part of the research. @reiss #reiss #sanantonio #wbaileyskincare #mensfashion #highlandpark #alamoheights #nordstrom @nordstrom

Jim's never disappoints at 410 & Broadway. Feeling blah, I went for a 1/2 sandwich and soup. Their chicken salad is so delicious! Under $10 and filling.

It's hard to beat Jim's. And, yes, I like black pepper.

Let me know your favorite Jim's meal.

Meanwhile, in Kenedy, Texas…

Rain all day.
You know you’re in South Texas, when your ticket shorthand is in Spanish.

And apparently the traveling esthetician has become a South Texas road warrior. 😂

Next stop: beautiful skin.

Born in 1963. I will be 63 years old this year. I’m sure that means something. I think this description is pretty accurate.

I had a great dinner last night to cap off a great day at work. Low-cal but hi-flavor. Egg noodles, cottage cheese, crème fraîche, red pepper flakes, chives, and Tuna. Side of avocado with a drizzle of avocado oil and flaked salt. Followed up with a walk and came home to dessert of strawberry Jell-O topped with yogurt and a protein powder mix with strawberries and blueberries. #jello #lowcarb #flavor #alamoheights #sanantonio #power

Thanks @reiss for designing this amazing jacket. I can't take it off. Besides the fact that I'm in a size large, which is exciting, it fits like a glove!

The Reiss show was great and inspirational. Guys over 50, and like me, over 60- don't try to dress like you are still in your 40s. You can still dress well while looking casual and elegant.

It means dressing better.

Better fit.
Better fabrics.
Better quality.
Fewer pieces, but the right pieces.

I've spent less time chasing trends and more time building a wardrobe that works for my life—whether that's work, dinner with friends, travel, or simply enjoying a Saturday afternoon.

Style isn't about looking younger.

It's about looking like the best version of yourself today.

You train your body.
You watch what you eat.
You invest in your health.

Your skin should reflect that lifestyle too.

Men often tell me they want healthier skin but aren't sure where to start. The good news? You don't need 12 products or complicated routines.

Sometimes what your skin needs most is professional guidance, consistency, and treatments designed specifically for your goals.

Because healthy skin isn't about looking younger.
It's about looking healthy.

✓ Personalized treatments
✓ Professional guidance
✓ Results built around your goals

Men need skincare too.

The skincare industry is shifting.
People are starting to realize that viral trends, celebrity brands, and influencer recommendations are not the same as professional skin care advice.

Good skin is not created by gimmicks, filters, or paid promotions.
It comes from understanding how the skin actually works.

As estheticians, we study skin health, ingredients, barrier function, aging, acne, inflammation, and real treatment outcomes — not what’s trending for clicks this week.

Consumers are becoming smarter.
They are moving away from “one-size-fits-all” skincare and returning to personalized guidance from licensed professionals who actually work with skin every day.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Stop chasing trends.
Start trusting professionals.

Support your local esthetician.
Your skin deserves expertise, not advertising.
