God put me through it, cause he knew I could do it…

First and foremost, Jesus I thank YOU! Thank you for getting me through the super long nights and very early mornings. Thank you for keeping my mind. Thank you for keeping me grounded when I had every reason to be uprooted. Thank you for the people who saw my potential and pushed me towards it. Thank you for keeping and covering me. I’m forever grateful.

This moment is HUGE for me. My journey was very unique and it was not linear at all. I’ve been motivated, then I lost my motivation. I started strong, then I literally felt very weak! Dropped out of 2 masters programs prior to this one. Didn’t think I was smart enough, good enough, or even deserved to advance and grow, BUT GOD! People talked down to me and about me. I was told that If I didn’t go back to school immediately I never would. I was told that the field I chose there’s no money in it, so it’s pointless. Anyway, GOD DID. Sometimes you gotta turn your listening ears off and move exactly when, where, and how God says. It was (and still is) VERY hard giving God my ‘YES’ but he’s proven time and time again that if nobody else got me, HE ALWAYS DOES. All my praise goes to him and him ONLY. I couldn’t have made it without JESUS! I’m Grateful. It doesn’t stop here. Next Stop Jackson State University - MSW Loading. The rest is still being written… Deuteronomy 31:8✨
