It's another collaboration within a flavor drop!

Terra, owner of @the.doughoe micro bakery, is popping up Thursday at my tortilla factory, starting at 11am, so you're not going to want to miss that! You've seen her at the @gilbertmarket on Saturdays, but she's got a little different menu this time around. In addition to her amazing sourdough loaves, she's got a few sweet treats, including one loaf that will never be made again. (Hint -almonds)

She knows how we roll in AJ, so she's bringing metric ton, but it would still behoove you to arrive close to 11. Just saying.

So let's talk about those tortillas.

For the storefront on Thursday 11am-6pm and the Gilbert Farmers Market on Saturday morning at 7am-11am....

Hot and Porky!
A special blend of peppers from Bill @wcgt_ and bacon jam fat from @themeatmarketaz with just a kiss of smoke and brown sugar, all in a flour tortilla. This is not dessert. But it could definitely be used for any meal of the day.

For Saturday only...

I still have bagels on the mind after last week's amazing pop-up with @bagelero so I'm making a Everything tortilla (featuring @timbospicellc ), but this time with a little chipotle powder and Chile infused olive oil. This one will check the vegan box.

And for my corny folks, I'm running a batch of cheesy, garlicky blue corn. It's gonna be cheesy. And garlicky. And blue.

So there you go. Pre-Order is open Thursday 8am- Friday at 5pm, for pickup at the Gilbert Farmers Market on Saturday. Any questions? Shoot them down below!

$Am I a massive Beatles fan? Nope. Is my in-house artist? YEP. I mean, I dig them and all, but I wouldn't have been a hysterical shrieking teen at their concerts. But I digress... FLAVOR DROP! This is the part of the episode where I tell you what fun flavor we will have in the Apache Junction storefront (open 11am-6pm) and at the Gilbert Market on Saturday morning 7am-11am. And don't forget that you can pre-order on Thursday and Friday for guaranteed pickup at the @gilbertmarket so you don't have to worry about getting up early, or missing out on your favorites. So let's get dropping! Sargent Pepper's Gouda Hearts Club! A nice AZ grown 4 pepper medley, with Sargento peppers as the front man, with jalapeños and Hungarian Hot Wax peppers jamming on guitars, and serranos on drums. A little hickory smoke and garlic to round things out, and a touch of Timbo's Desert Death to heat things up. Oh yeah-lots of Gouda cheese! EVOO for the fat, checking the vegetarian box. I'm shooting for a nice solid medium on the heat. The next 3 are only available at the Gilbert Farmers Market on Saturday! Not available on Thursday! I'm working on 2 small batch experiments. "Wine and Cheese"! I've got a lovely Cabernet Sauvignon soaked Bellavitano cheese, and a lovely California Cab Sauv wine. I'm not entirely sure how this is going to work out, but I'm going to give it a shot. (I've used the wine soaked cheese before, and it was delicious, but the wine flavor was lost. I aim to fix that this time. CocoNanner! I really love the way tortillas come out with coconut milk in the mix. And I've got a bunch of bananas getting perfectly overripe. Organic brown sugar, extra virgin olive oil, and vanilla. I think I'll keep it simple. But I think it will be delicious. (Vegan) And for my corny folks... Serrano Lime Corn! Fresh Serrano peppers, organic lime juice, and corn! I haven't decided what color yet. I'll let you know in the morning. So there you go! If anything sells out online, I will have more at the market for walk up customers. On the specialties I do a 40\60 split, with 40% listed online. There's always a second chance. See you soon$

$Flavor Drop! And some fun news! Fun news first, we will be at the @flagstaffcommunitymarket for one last shindig, as they close out The Fall season before the snow flies. Sunday from 9:00 to 1:00, usual location, and we're going to be bringing a few of each of our specialties to tempt you to visit us during the frigid month of December all the way down in Gilbert. I won't be doing any pre-orders for Flagstaff, but we will bring more than we've ever brought before. I still wouldn't wait till the last hour of the market. Just saying. This first flavor will be available at our Apache Junction storefront, as well as at the Gilbert Farmers Market on Saturday morning, pre-order on my website, Link in bio, and a few even at Flagstaff. Pumpkin Spiced Coffee Tortillas! Yes, these may seem a little desserty, but they would be equally at home with a smoked brisket or a nice pulled pork. Pumpkin puree, cold brew coffee that's been steeping for 96 hours as of tomorrow morning, brown sugar, and @timbospicellc Basic B pumpkin spice blend. It is nearly Halloween after all. Might as well do something halloweeny. The following flavors will only be available on Saturday morning at Gilbert, and a few at Flagstaff on Sunday. (Not available at Apache Junction on Thursday. ) Blue 50\50! You've seen it before, you've loved it, you've declared it to be the world's best enchilada tortilla. Who am I to turn down all of the recent requests for its return? Half blue corn, half wheat flour, 100% delicious. (This one doubles as my corn specialty for my corny folks) Chile Basil Garlic! One of my favorite customers messaged me that her basil tree was out of control. Yes, I said tree. This thing is giant. I brought most of it to the kitchen with me, and I'll be combining that with Chiles de Árboles from my buddy Bill up in Sunflower, and a bit of garlic, for a chili basil tortilla that would be as at home in Italy as it would in Thailand. But if they did They would really like this. @destinykenner_ @wcgt_ Pre-Order opens at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, and closes at 5:00 p.m. Friday evening. Thank you so much for the sellout day last Saturday, and looking forward to seeing you all!$
