Did water polo just win their first ever league title in overtime in pouring rain? Yes we did! Congratulations to our boys water polo team and Coach Vince and senior Devin as they took powerhouse Charter Oak to overtime and in the last 30 seconds, number five Angel was able to throw a heat seeker, a fastball down the middle, to score for our team and then we defended in the last two seconds to win our first ever league title! Both coaches jumped into the pool to celebrate with the students. We had a vibrant parent cheering section and our team held to their resolve and completed their mission of being there for their teammates and getting the plaque. Congratulations boys water polo in making history! We will put up a new banner in our gym to signify our first league title for boys water polo in the year of 2026. Let’s go Bulldogs.

We have a school competition for attendance. Ms. Kangas’s class won the attendance award for the month. Good job! We delivered donuts to class. School should be fun. And donuts are 👌

@yearbook_wchs held their Yearbook Wedding where they made their vows to each other to promise to work together as a team through thick and thin. The wedding was a celebratory event with cake, games and yearbook rituals. I had a blast and I am looking forward to an amazing yearbook!
