MORE AIRDATES FOR A LONG HARD STREAK! New Hampshire PBS @nhpbs , which includes coverage of the Boston market, will be playing the film twice in October. More airdates coming soon! Discover how outlaw, artist, preacher, and FBI Ten Most Wanted fugitive Billy Dean Anderson survived in an underground cave for nearly 5 years. A Long Hard Streak, the award-winning film from Scott Rabideau and EP’d by Projected Picture Works (Sean Penn, John Ira Palmer, John Wildermuth) challenges the assumptions of our archetypal American outlaws (and artists). Billy’s decades-spanning criminal career included multiple imprisonments, three shootouts with the law, three prison escapes, and culminated with an addition to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list. After his tumultuous and conflicted life, did Billy’s art bring some form of redemption? These broadcasts wouldn’t be possible without our generous sponsors: Visit Knoxville and Film Knox - @visitknoxville Preservation Pub, Knoxville - @preservation_pub Inner Mountain Outfitters - @innermountainoutfitters.imo Byrdstown - Pickett County Chamber of Commerce Clay County Courthouse - @historicclaycountycourthousetn Indie Media Arts South @indiemediaartssouth And another huge thank you to the team: Director Scott Rabideau @scottrabideau Executive Producers @projectedpictureworks @seanpenn @trehaus @ghopperfilm Co-Producer Bryan Stamp Score Produced and mixed by Dario Forzato @darioforzatomusic Cello - Isaiah Gage @isaiahcello Fiddle - Connor Vance @connorstylevance Drums - Edo Tancredi @e.tancredi Guitars, Banjo, Percussion, Cello - Dario Forzato @darioforzatomusic Color Digital Intermediate - Different By Design #differentbydesign Digital Intermediate Colorist - Raphaëlle Dufosset @raphedft Sound Design and Re-Recording Mixer Jeffrey Alan Jones - @jefferyalanjones @alanaudioworks Illustrations Juan Arroyo - @arroyoartworks Graphic Design - Gennia Cui @gennia Legal - Jacqueline Swett, Lisa Callif @dcpfirm Supported by: @tennesseeartscommission @humanities_tn @tntecharchives @morgancountyhistoricalsociety FOLLOW @longhardstreak for more airdates! #BillyDeanAnderson #ALongHardStreak #truecrime

Fall FunFest 🍂🤎 A Cookeville tradition for 30 years—and one that will always have a little piece of my heart. There’s just something special about seeing our courthouse square full of families, local businesses, music, food and so many familiar faces. I loved getting to be part of bringing this event to life years ago, and I love even more getting to experience it now with my own family. Supporting downtown. Supporting local. Making memories right here at home. 🫶🏻 #Cookeville #FallFunFest #DowntownCookeville #ShopLocal #CookevilleTN

Recently, I had the opportunity to celebrate a true Upper Cumberland institution at the WCTE PBS Annual Dinner. ❤️ This year’s theme, Moving Through History with WCTE, was such a fitting reminder of the power of storytelling—not just in preserving history, but in helping people connect with a place. The evening celebrated everything from the extraordinary documentary work of Ken Burns to stories rooted right here in the Upper Cumberland, including Waterfalls for All and the wonderful journey of Wish You Were Here with my wonderful friends Shan Stout and Tessa Davis. For those of us working in tourism, that connection matters. Beautiful places may capture attention, but it’s the people, history and stories behind them that make a destination memorable. Grateful for WCTE PBS and the role they continue to play in telling the stories of our region—and congratulations to all of this year’s honorees. ❤️ #WCTEPBS #TennesseesUpperCumberland #UpperCumberland #TennesseeTourism #Storytelling
