Just a quick overview of the Pollux Field Systems Micro-J roll up J-Pole. Based on the feedback I got, I'm going to be opening preorders soon, likely end of this week or beginning of next.

The antenna will be available through our store as well as an add-on through @corbinneville84 (Rainworks USA) and @manpackradio.

Remember to use coupon code PFSMICROJ to save 10% on pre-orders. They will be listed at $49.99 before discount.

This antenna is a problem solver that fits in your pocket. Literally.

We have gotten a pretty huge amount of interest on the PFS Micro-J in the past couple of days here on IG, Dm's, emails, and website traffic. We're still a couple weeks from starting to ship units, but they're currently in production. Would you guys and gals be interested in a pre-order so you make sure you can get yours as they get completed? Let me know and drop a comment below, and mak sure to share this post with all your radio friends!

What is Pollux? And why did I choose that name?

In Greek mythology, Pollux was one of two inseparable brothers, Castor and Pollux. When the mortal Castor died, the immortal Pollux offered to share his immortality rather than leave his brother behind. Their bond was immortalized in the constellation Gemini.

To me, that story represents loyalty, selflessness, and a commitment to others. Those are the values I want Pollux Field Systems to represent.

I believe communications is a mission worth pursuing, and one worth sharing with everyone.

Whether you're an experienced radio operator, a first responder, or someone picking up their first handheld, everyone deserves the opportunity to learn and develop their capabilities.

Unfortunately, the communications community can sometimes be unwelcoming. Too much gatekeeping, too many egos, and too much criticism of those simply trying to learn.

That's not what I want PFS to be.

No gatekeeping. No egos. No belittling someone for asking questions. Just honest information, practical equipment, and a willingness to help others succeed.

Because at the end of the day, communications isn't just about radios and antennas.

It's about people, staying connected, and refusing to leave others behind.

That's why I chose Pollux.

Communications. Connectivity. Confidence.

Got out to Tetlin, US-0154, for Support Your Parks weekend! 📻

Operating from the truck, I logged 24 contacts on 20m in just over an hour and a half. A little FT4, FT8 and SSB, with contacts in Japan, South Korea, Finland, Canada and the US.

Thanks to everyone who answered the call! 73, KL5PF
