I’m going to tell a little story right now. This might end up getting a bit long winded but it means a lot to me so if your attention span makes it further than this I appreciate you ❤️

In 2022 myself and @kojayin started a project called @foolsinthehousedj . We weren’t 100% sure where it was going to go but we knew we wanted to bring authentic and meaningful house music events to Birmingham. These would be akin to the events that pioneered and championed house music and we really wanted this to not just be reflected in the curation of sounds but also the community spirit and freedom of movement at our events.

Since Kojay’s life and career progressed in London, I took it upon myself to run Fools on my own. A real journey that has taken me through highs and lows as the events game can do. Regardless of everything though I’m so proud of what Fools has become and will continue to be. Many an event now filled with unbelievable vibes that I hope anyone who has been to any can attest to. DJ’s both internationally and locally renowned, playing and curating sets filled with proper house music.

I want to show appreciation to everyone who has been to or shown love to anything in relation to Fools In The House and I also want to let you know that I am feeling more ambitious and optimistic than ever about it. This is essentially my baby and you will know about it as we are not putting our foot down now.

To the team that I now have around me helping me with the events whether that be DJ’s, photographers, videographers or even those of you who continue to shout about it, your help means the world. You all know who you are ❤️

And to any other events/brands we’ve done collaborations with, thank you also for believing in Fools enough to put your name alongside it, that means more than you realise.

The next event is Friday 13th February at the newly opened @the_drop_inn_digbeth where we will be transforming a space to bring you the best house rave around alongside a wonderful lineup which I can’t wait to have play.

If you can make it down and are keen I would absolutely love to see your face on Friday.

If you read this far, thank you❤️
