POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The pure and wholesome perfection that is a Midwest summer. If only I could scoop of everyone and everything there — every feeling — and plop it somewhere tropical.

On this trip I laughed and I cried. I foosed. I birded. I karaoked. I faired. I gained a lot of clarity (and a little weight, thanks 🧀🍻).

Shoutout to my loving family in the land of lakes and cheesehead states. Shoutout to my friends who feel like family in Chi town. Shoutout to Usher, Charlie Parr and The Alabama Shakes. Shoutout to the newlyweds and the re-weds. I miss you all already.

Slug said it best: it’s such a pleasure to come home.

2025

2025 was an ambitious year that I need to be more proud of than I let myself be. Heck finished its Adult Swim Small ‘Boom Dude’, Hellavision created 3 full episodes, and we started Modular Studio.

That’s a lot in 1 year, so I think it goes without saying I feel a bit burnt out. I spent time enjoying newer hobbies like golf and Magic. Went to LA for the Smalls screening, Berlin for Picto and Ottawa for OIAF. My hot wife loves me and my dog is cute.

I have a lot to be grateful for.

Here’s to gratitude and maybe giving myself a break next year but also probably not. 🫶

This year we had the pleasure of attending @ottawa.animationfestival thanks to our new silver sponsor! For the last few years we’ve shown up, watched films and left feeling ever closer to our community ❤️ thanks OIAF for the good hangs and gooder memories!

🌼 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼

I wanted to list out everyone that helped me on this project but IG wouldn’t let me mention that many people in the description 😩 collaborators are tagged on each slide. But i wanted to specially highlight @rasmusanilsson ‘s work on the illustrations that really brought the visual world to life. thank you so much rasmus!

Photos from our last animation debate night: Antz VS A Bug’s Life. Folks, this was very heated for an otherwise chilly December evening. For the record — ANTZ won. Do you believe it?! Do you agree!? Thanks again @wealthyrelative and @jakehuffcutt for your immense bravery and scholarship. 🐜🐛 Extra special thanks to @istherelifeonmarz for hosting us! Photos cred to @tang.jiadi (you’re a life saver, bud)
