Let’s be real, being your own boss sounds cute until you realize YOU are responsible for making sure ALL the bills get paid! 😂💸 Entrepreneurship is rewarding, but WHEW, it ain’t for the weak!

Beyond needing extra income, I wanted a brain break from building businesses, an opportunity to sharpen my skills, and a chance to explore something I was genuinely curious about.

Growing up in foster care, you don’t always have the space to dream, much less the opportunity to make those dreams a reality. Sometimes you’re so focused on surviving that you forget you’re allowed to just TRY THINGS.

I’m learning that part of healing your inner child is giving yourself permission to explore, be curious, and experience life beyond your responsibilities. Not everything has to become a business or a big accomplishment. Sometimes you can do something simply because you WANT TO! 💛

And listen, bartending has been HUMBLING! 😂 But there’s something beautiful about being a beginner again, learning new skills, meeting people, and letting somebody ELSE be the boss for a few hours! 🤣

Huge thank you to Steve at 473 for taking a chance on me and to the entire team for the laughs, patience, and lessons along the way!

It’s not perfect, but I’m grateful for the journey.
