AD | Travelling with kids? Here’s one way to make the start of your family holiday SO much easier!

We’ve travelled quite a bit as a family over the years, and one thing I’ve learned is that the airport experience can make such a difference to how your holiday begins!

Before flying out to Italy, we decided to start our holiday with a visit to @escape_lounges at @edinburghairport , and it was such a lovely way to spend a few hours before our flight.

No wandering around trying to find three seats together, no rushing to grab something to eat and no feeling like we were just counting down the minutes until boarding. Instead, we could sit together, enjoy some food and drinks and actually relax before heading off on our next adventure.

And that’s what I really loved about it. Sometimes travelling with children can feel like a military operation, so having somewhere comfortable for everyone to settle, eat and enjoy themselves makes such a difference. Especially when you’re getting up early for a flight!

The lounge has chef prepared food, complimentary drinks, unlimited WiFi and plenty of charging points. You can also visit up to three hours before your flight, so there’s no need to rush.

And if you’ve got a family holiday coming up, there’s a brilliant offer worth knowing about!

Children aged 3–15 can visit participating Escape Lounges for just £10 each, with children under 3 entering free! Simply use code EDIOCT26 when booking by 31st October, for travel up until 31st December 2026.

Whether you’re heading away for some winter sunshine or planning a festive family break, it’s definitely worth considering as part of your airport experience. For us, the holiday starts the minute we leave the house, and having a relaxed start at the airport just makes the whole experience that little bit more enjoyable for everyone. Alcohol is for 18+. Please drink responsibly

NEEDED A REST.
Things I’ve done this autumn so far as a London mum prioritising self care 🍂

1. 😴 Sleep more. Floats and bus naps… I’ll take rest wherever I can. @the_floatworks
2. 🎨 Solo dates are underrated. A little time just for me. @wakethetiger.ldn
3. 💃 Dance it out. Whatever life throws at you, turn the music up
4. 🎧 Hey Mr DJ! Music, drinks and rooftop vibes at the Alpine Bar, @hyattlondonstratford
5. 🎨 Throw paint as therapy. Sometimes you just need to make a mess. @kedistudiolondon
6. 👃 Just sniff and walk past the sweets (if you want to) 😂 @killavanilla
7. 👠 The stuff has to go and make room for something better
8. 📚 Picked up some physical books
9. 🦠 Back-to-school bug survival. Because what is that cough? @newfoundlanddiagnostics
🍂 A little reminder that being a mum doesn’t mean putting yourself last.
Which one are you adding to your autumn? SAVE AND FOLLOW for days out and break outs of self care
#londonwithkids #selfcarewithkids #londonmum

Love hosting a party 🥳🥳

Louise 5 years ago could have only dreamt of having the confidence to wear a short suit, with blonde (rachel from friends) hair, to speak in front of room full of prolific men and women for a full 30 minutes about taste making and also to have the opportunity to put my name to so many tremendous things.

Laughing now at the boy I knew when we were teenagers who got ‘if you can dream it you can do it’ tattooed across his chest and we all smirked at the time but now I’m kinda into it… if you can dream it you CAN DO IT. He knew what was up.

I have to say I’ve had the most amazing week this week and I am choosing to welcome in all this positive new moon energy like a beacon of bright white life. I feel so light and airy and like I’m skipping through life. It makes for a welcome change. For anyone going through a hard time right now I promise the tide will change again. Remember there was a time when your mind was innocent and peaceful and happy. (I did a lot of reflecting on this in my soundbath session this afternoon). So many options for healing and recovery, if you’re panicking you’re exhausting them all, you’re not, don’t give up. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ (that was THE advice I needed when my MH was on the floor) xxxx

Thank you to everyone who made this happen you know who you are.

MORE THAN JUST THE MUSIC 💚🎶☀️

You might book your ticket because Ocean Colour Scene are playing.

Or Matt Goss. Marc Almond. Lightning Seeds. Heaven 17. Haircut 100. The Wonder Stuff. Inspiral Carpets.

But somewhere between arriving at Ashley Hall and packing up on Monday morning, The Brit Fest becomes about so much more than the name on the poster.

It’s four days away with your favourite people.

⛺ Camping under the summer sky
🚐 Bringing your campervan or caravan
✨ Going all-out with glamping
🎶 Discovering a band you weren’t planning to watch
🍻 That first festival drink
🕺 Dancing until your feet object
❤️ Kids experiencing their first festival
🙌 Making friends you didn’t know on Thursday but somehow know VERY well by Sunday

And, of course, more than 120 live performances and entertainment across an unforgettable weekend.

The artists might be what brings you here.

The rest of it is what makes you want to come back.

That’s The Brit Fest. 💚

There are events you host… and there are events you feel. Last night, we felt every part of this one. 🤍

A beautiful audience came together not simply to watch a podcast, but to become part of

The honesty, laughter and energy that followed reminded me exactly why I created Think Deepa Live.

And Simon Rimmer… unbelievable.

Warm, funny, completely open and so generous with his story. He didn’t just answer questions; he brought the whole room into the conversation. Everyone loved him. I heard the words “best one yet” more than once—and that meant more than I can say.

To everyone who joined us in the room, watched live on YouTube or came along with us on Instagram: thank you. You brought the energy that no running order could ever create.

A huge thank you to our brilliant headline sponsors Neko Health.

A heartfelt thankyou to Mercedes, Ben and the team at Beautiful Productions. @brazenpeter at Brazen PR, Nicky at CF Organic Wellness, Gareth Taylor at UA92 and WILLPOWDERS.
Kate and Nicola from Calm Collective for bringing the vibes.
None of this happens without people who believe in what we’re building.

A special Thankyou to WILLPOWDERS for the fantastic goodie bags, showcasing their latest sports range, gifting our guests their latest electrolytes and creatine. A genuine coup for us—and we were so proud to be part of it.

Last night, we listened. We reflected. We laughed. We journalled. And hopefully, we all left knowing ourselves a little better.

This is more than a podcast. It’s a mirror.

Thank you for creating such a beautiful reflection. 🤍

AD | BRB, just decorating for every season 🍂

Christmas ISN’T the only season that deserves its own decorations, and I am fully embracing autumn again this year 😍

We’ve brought out our autumn decor from last year, added a few new bits from @qd_stores and now our 5ft Nordman fir Christmas tree from QD has now found itself a second job... as an autumn tree 🍁😂

And I LOVE it!

That’s what I love about decorating seasonally.
You don’t need to start again or spend a fortune every year.
Reuse what you already have, add a few affordable new pieces and suddenly the whole room feels different.

The pumpkins, the mushrooms, the autumn colours... I am fully committed to making this house as cosy as possible now 🍄🍂

Who else is ready to fully embrace cosy season? 🍁

Has Christmas arrived in your local B&M yet? 🎄👀

I was lucky enough to be invited to @bm_store Christmas Showcase earlier this summer with @wearebrazenpr 🤎

Now, I’m already spotting so much of their gorgeous range in stores. I’ll definitely buying early this year!

I honestly can’t pick a favourite between these three…

❤️ Timeless Traditions
🤎 Alpine Charm
🐻 Charlie the Bear (he speaks for himself! 😂)

Which one is your favourite? 🎄✨
