POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Every time I get to cover a @bravotv event, I get a little misty eyed. 🥹 After interviewing all the Bravolebs for @people, I took a lap around Fan Fest to soak it all in. So many happy people brought together by the same thing I’ve loved for years. Getting to call this work will never get old. 💙 #BravoFanFest

Episode 15 • David Jacobsen: Transforming Communal Spaces into Vibrant Cultural Centers through Art.

“We live in a moment when people are craving the real - real spaces, real encounters, real beauty made by hand. Our art program will be an extension of everything we believe about how community gets built.”
– David Jacobsen, CIVIC’s Head of Production & CIVIC Art Program Curator

Listen to our latest episode of the WhatsNewarkGotToDoWithIt.com podcast to hear our conversation with David about how CIVIC Entertainment Group’s Art Program is transforming their NYC headquarters into a cultural gathering space. And how David’s lifelong interest and commitment to the visual arts has informed his personal life of art collecting and supporting artists here in the US and in his ancestral home of Columbia. Photographs of CIVIC’s Art Program initiative, including theirs and David’s art collections, are included on the website.

“For CIVIC, inviting our clients, partners, neighbors and community leaders to gather around art is a practice that not only speaks to the incredible history of our neighborhood but to CIVIC’s commitment to the transformative power of community.”
– Stuart Ruderfer, CO-CEO, CIVIC

Shane or Ilya in a @UFC fight? @kevinzegers1984 has chosen his side… and honestly, we agree. 😂🥊

We caught up with Kevin about joining the #HeatedRivalry cast for Season 2, working with Jacob and Connor, and why “crazy” always wins in the Octagon 👀🔥
