Black stories have always demanded to be seen.

Oscar Micheaux broke barriers as one of the first major Black filmmakers, creating films outside the system.

Julie Dash told Black stories through cinema with vision and artistry, paving the way for generations.

Briana Hawkins, Corner to Corner Academy alum and owner of Demi Rebel, a Nashville-based content creation agency, brings that same creativity and voice to screens today, shaping culture through storytelling. Vision. Impact.

Black history isn’t just remembered — it’s made every day.
