This week felt a little bit like coming home. John flew in from Vancouver, and for a few days life slowed down enough for us to do what started all of this in the first place—make music together. There were early mornings, late nights, too much coffee, long walks, half-finished lyrics, and those moments where a song suddenly becomes something neither of us expected. No big announcement. No grand reveal. Just a week we’re really grateful for and a reminder that some of the best things in life are built one ordinary day at a time.

A few years ago I met Jon in LA at a writing camp. We immediately hit it off, surrounded by amazing producers and talent the week we were all together. This was the last song we wrote before the trip came to an end, and ironically we wrote it in under 30 minutes. It just poured out of us. Fast forward to today, we decided to start Drugs On Sunday. We’re a brand new Americana Indie Folk band with a dreamy sound. People have been aligning us with talents like The Civil Wars & Noah Kahan- which has blown us away, and made us dig our heels in deeper to keep following this dream. I’ve always been fully immersed in music, from synch to major labels to writing for OTHER artists, but the sweet spot for me is always when I get to BE the artist. So, thank you for listening to us, and being here from the very beginning. Can’t wait to see where this thing goes 🥹 Full song & release dates coming soon 🔜
