Never thought I’d be here over a year ago. When I first started travelling, I couldn’t bike, so I started running. I still remember doing my first 3K on the roads of rural Thailand. My lungs absolutely burning and legs wrecked the next day 😂 I’ve never considered myself a runner, and back then I definitely never thought I’d be able to say I could complete a marathon. It wasn’t the exact result I was looking for, but hey… I finished a fucking marathon. That counts for something🤷‍♂️ Big shoutout to all my friends and family who supported me along the way, and especially everyone who showed up and cheered me on. It meant more than you know. Love you all ❤️ Onto the next challenge💪 #royalvictoriamarathon #fullmarathon #feelingaccomplished

It is super nice to be back home riding familiar streets with old friends again! The @gardencitybikeclub ride on Tuesday was a lot of fun even if we had to change our ice cream plans, really thankful to the people who kept it running while I was away. Not quite as nice to have somebody rifle through my frame bag last night while I was at the movies. I hope you enjoy my Allen Keys, zip ties, and one glove... 😡 Good 📸 by @weareprofilecreative

What an awesome ride last night! GCBC Ride 29, a fast, hilly blast out to South Prospect Lake park before meandering our way through narrow cut throughs and almost literally a person's yard to find parks, playgrounds, and a spot for birthday cookies. 13 people made it super fun, we didn't leave Neil behind (how could we with such a shiny bike?!), and a long DQ chat capped off the night. Thank you all for coming and making this silly project so fun. We are getting close to the final rides of the Saanich list, and I can't wait to explore more municipalities with you! Starting next week: start time bumped back to 6pm. The good photos are thanks to @weareprofilecreative!

Every year, I share a polished recap post. This year feels more raw and real, and I’m letting that lead. This year, the thread that ran through everything was community and joy. Finding a new equilibrium between work and life. Finding my place in a new community, and building deeper ties with both old and new friends. Letting the old version of me unravel, and following where my joy led me instead. I spent more time on set than ever before, working alongside so many new creatives. I quietly stepped into a new role as a fractional CCO with Second To None. Clients I once worked with became friends. Projects became partnerships. This year was about building foundations. About choosing people. About creating something that feels like it will last. I’m overwhelmed by how much this community held me. By how many new friends now feel like they’ve always been there. I am so very lucky. 2025 you were both a challenge and a gift.

We had a blast producing this TV commercial for our client @maxxamgroup. Thanks to a great crew and cast, we were able to fit this production into one day. It was shot on the Red Komodo X. We used four different locations, starting inside the house. We had a window of rain, so we used it to travel to the boat and ATV scenes. We finished the project in the backyard of the original house. Thank you to the crew for making this happen! A short film that we will forever hold close to our hearts 🤍 Link in bio to watch the entire film “Land of Plenty” 🙏🏻 It’s been a year since we did this project for @canoncanada with @rupskywalker @weareprofilecreative @calvinhuth @berkleyvopnfjord dream team. They captured the essence of our wild west coast and the Cameron family story perfectly 🌊 🎣 Cover photo by @berkleyvopnfjord

Just a breakdown of a piano scene we filmed recently. Keep reading if you want all the details We shot this scene leveraging the windows in the back as our practical light, and set up a negative so we would be able to control the shadow on the face of our subject. We then set up a 600 and punched it through a 8x8 scrim with a honeycomb grid on it, making it so we had pretty direct control of the light while keeping it soft. We paired it with setting up a 500 as a hair light that you can spot behind the scrim, just to give a little more of an outline to the subject. Lastly we used some fog to give the sunlight (and our lights) some depth. I’ll be sharing this project soon
