I'm so excited to say this after more than a year: say hello to National Geographic's new Creator Cohort! Since late 2024, we've been diligently working to lay the groundwork for a new campaign to turbocharge our approach to creator partnerships. As part of this campaign, we're building longer-term relationships with eight creators across the science, adventure, travel, animal, wildlife and history spaces - deploying them across our organization with the tools to craft innovative, social-first content that helps our brand reach new heights on social. Over the next six months, this amazing group will show up in content tied to our TV shows, Expeditions trips, consumer products and more. You can read more about what's ahead in The Hollywood Reporter, who broke the news exclusively earlier today. I had the pleasure of spending the last two days with this group here in Washington, and I'm deeply inspired by their personal stories and the passion that they each bring to the table. They're gifted storytellers who are passionate about science, exploration and adventure storytelling - and they've cultivated something so special. Stay tuned, because there are amazing things to come from this group!

I thought it would be fun to share my audition to final result of my latest @natgeoanimals project! 🎥 For this audition, they didn’t give me sides, but they told me the following: “‪Please introduce yourself as a teacher to a classroom of 8-10 year old kids, sharing that today’s lesson will be about bugs. Pretend to show and introduce a cute little ladybug to the camera as you might show a student. Pretend to show and introduce a tarantula to the camera as you might show a scared student.” As you can see, shoot day was quite chaotic and required me to react to what the kids were doing. They gave me some facts about each bit and my task was to share them in my own words. It was a fun audition and shoot - how did I do?! Huge thanks to @formationagency, @lina_alejandra, @pryanparker, and @wearespaceman! And all the awesome kids that were wonderful to work with! #natgeo #auditiontapes #asianactor #atlantaactor
