💜 Artist Spotlight 💜 @ironaltarmetal will be a part of both Obsidian Gathering Vol: I at @boom.leeds as well as The Night Before taking place at @little.buildings ! Formed in Edinburgh in 2016 the Scottish 5 piece draw influence from a range of progressive death metal, discordant sludge and visceral metallic hardcore. The band have extensively toured the UK and Ireland, increasingly prevalent since 2023’s well received record ‘Promethean’ was released via Trepanation Recordings. The band have appeared alongside a wide range of acts including Heriot, Conan, Hellripper, Blood Red Throne and Baest as well as appearances at numerous festivals including Bloodstock 2023. A new record for 2026 (Title and release TBC) has just been tracked at No Studio in Manchester with mastermind Joe Clayton (Conjurer, Wallowing, Underdark) behind the desk. The new album features the most focussed, punishing and ambitious material the band has produced, with the band pushing themselves in intensity, performance and songwriting. Tickets to both Obsidian Gathering Vol: I and The Night Before are available now via the link in bio 🎟️ #extrememetal #groovemetal #deathmetal #blackmetal #metaluk

Your listings for the rest of the year. We've got doom, death, post-rock, black metal, sludge, post-hardcore, screamo, and more. 2027 is shaping up to be madness already but first we're finishing this year on a high. All tickets available via Headfirst and www.bacchuspresents.co.uk. Maybe there's also another unannounced show because I'm a glutton for punishment. Who knows.

💜 Artist Spotlight 💜 Headlining Obsidian Gathering Vol: I at @boom.leeds on the 24th October are Hull heavyweights @mastiffhchc Whether spreading plagues, turning the Earth to ash or teetering on the precipice of depression, you can always count on Kingston Upon Hull’s premier misery merchants Mastiff to ruin your day. Now well over a decade into their parade of embittered misanthropy, the East Yorkshire sextet have definitively burned their mark into the UK’s extreme music scene with a fistful of mangled hardcore and sludge riffs and an endless well of spite. Mastiff’s reputation as a ferocious live entity only continues to grow, as they have spent the last few years racking up appearances at prestigious heavy music festivals like Bloodstock, Damnation, Incineration and DesertFest to name but a few, as well as sharing stages and touring with the likes of Avatar, Palm Reader, Conan, Black Tongue, Cult Leader, Calligram, Iron Monkey, Raging Speedhorn and many, many more. Their track ‘Acid Breather’ also appeared in the multi-million selling video game Cyberpunk 2077 as well as its Netflix spin-off Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Mastiff have also recently joined the incredible roster over at Church Road Records for the release of their latest EP ‘For All The Dead Dreams’, which is a blistering five-song assault of pummelling and aggravated hardcore. They will be joined by @hundredyearoldman @ironaltarnetal @ruadhofficial @wearestillaband @acceptance.leeds and @aonarachofficial Tickets available at the link in bio 🎟️ #extrememetal #sludge #blackmetal #leedsmetal #sludgemetal
