Shamir Sterlin has been named Conference USA Freshman of the Week after a standout performance for FIU. The Port St. Lucie native and Treasure Coast High School alum posted 7 tackles, 5 solo stops, a tackle for loss, and an interception. Sterlin is quickly making his presence felt and looks to be a key impact player to watch as the season continues.

Alex Woods, defensive tackle for SMU, is a name to watch this season. The Port St. Lucie native built an impressive career at Treasure Coast High School, where he helped lead the Titans to a district title, a 10-2 record, and a deep playoff run as a junior. Expect big things from him as he continues making an impact on the field.

Motivator Monday
This week we highlight Irvin Jones, entering another season as Head Football Coach at Treasure Coast High School — the longest-tenured coach in the area.

When Coach Jones took over, he shifted the program’s identity from flash to grit. He built a weight room–first culture, focusing on size, speed, strength, and toughness — especially in the trenches.

A defensive and special teams mind, he turned Treasure Coast into an offensive line–driven powerhouse. In 2020, his squad went 10-0, even dropping 57 points in a single game.

Coach Jones proves that hard work, not hype, wins games. Thanks coach for helping develop so many athletes along the way!

Treasure Coast's Zyon Harris takes the No. 8 spot on TCPalm's Super 11 list of top high school football recruits!

“I’ve just been impressed with his work ethic,” TCHS head coach Irvin Jones said of Harris. “From day one and where his numbers were in the weight room to now, those numbers have gone through the roof. … He always gets after it and never complains. He’s a worker."

Playing with confidence has been an uphill battle for Dylan Charles. But through the mentorship of players before him, production on one of the state’s best teams and the development his skills, the Treasure Coast defensive back has learned to believe in himself.

Grabbing No. 10 spot on TCPalm’s Super 11 list of high school football recruits, Charles extends that belief to the Titans, a team that suffered numerous losses from a roster that reached the regional finals last year.

Get to know: @jayden.mb1

The @wearetcoastfb ‘26 RB made his presence felt on the offensive side of the ball in the @fca_palmbeachcounty Team Scrimmage Camp that lasted for two days (July 16-17) at Lake Lytal in West Palm Beach. Hear the positive effect that this camp experience had on Roberts.

Fun fact: @jayden.mb1 is the younger brother of @george.roberts_3. This fact alone will give one a precursor of what to expect for the next two seasons at Treasure Coast.
