🎙️😵‍💫🎨DEL STEPHEN meets TEETHING🔥😵📢
Tues March 24 in the Living Room (292 Brunswick Ave)
my mind has been all over the place lately --> trying and then untrying to figure out What's Going On --> I have been putting a lot of my faith in art, the creative spirit, and other people who seek both those things --> if that happens to sound at all uninviting or ciao-falutin in any way, I apologize and I warmly welcome you to the present moment --> Now Is The Time for @weareteething ! ! ! next Tuesday promises to be a free music poetry exploratory noise improvised sound collision concert and your attendance is strongly encouraged 🌊🪈☕

We’re a week out from our two-day season finale at St. Anne’s (check grid for details), but in the meantime, here’s a flashback to last month’s event at @itsok.world 💫

Great thanks to Animatist, @thesoapsound, @freeroseuniverse, @earth2tiffany, @weareteething, @theswinburnecomplex, and @vridhhi for helping us bring the party back to Queen Street!

Long Winter is made possible with funding support from @ontarioartscouncil, @torontoartscouncil, and your pay-what-you-can donations at the door. Special thanks to @itsok.world for making space for us, and to our returning beverage sponsor, @lostcraftbeer, for making sure we never go thirsty.

Last but never least welcome @weareteething to cap 🦷 off our show at @itsok.world.

“teething is a QTBIPOC free-improvised noise collective from so-called toronto. Everyone plays every instrument, and everything is an instrument. As such, teething is an ever-flowing and -growing creature, playfully moving between ambient and noise, always with an experimental undercurrent, informed by punkish anti-establishment and an anti-colonial grounding (and regrounding) in the many lived experiences of our members.”
