🔥 SANS DÉTOUR.

Le 5 septembre, Salahdine Parnasse fera ses premiers pas dans l’Octogone.

Et pour ses débuts à l’UFC, pas de round d’observation.

Après avoir construit l’une des plus belles carrières de l’histoire du MMA européen, Parnasse arrive à l’UFC avec un statut bien différent de celui d’un simple débutant.

23 victoires. 2 défaites.

Ancien champion KSW featherweight et lightweight.

Et surtout, cinq victoires consécutives avant de franchir les portes de l’UFC.

Le Français a longtemps été présenté comme l’un des meilleurs combattants évoluant en dehors de l’UFC.

Mais désormais, il n’y a plus de débat théorique.

Et face à lui se trouve l’un des adversaires les plus expérimentés qu’il pouvait rencontrer pour ses débuts.

Dan Hooker.

24-14 chez les professionnels, 17 combats à l’UFC chez les lightweights et une carrière construite face à certains des meilleurs noms de la division.

Makhachev. Poirier. Gamrot. Tsarukyan.

Et plus récemment Benoît Saint Denis.

Le Néo-Zélandais connaît parfaitement ce niveau de compétition.

Mais Hooker reste sur deux défaites consécutives, face à Arman Tsarukyan puis Benoît Saint Denis, et cherchera forcément à stopper cette dynamique devant le public français.

Stylistiquement, l’affiche est particulièrement intrigante.

🥊 Parnasse possède une palette offensive extrêmement complète, capable de varier les distances et les phases du combat.

🧠 Hooker apporte son expérience, sa longueur et sa capacité à rester dangereux dans les échanges les plus difficiles.

🔥 Et surtout, deux combattants habitués à construire leur identité autour du striking vont se retrouver dans un combat en cinq rounds.

Pour Salahdine, l’enjeu est immense.

Une victoire contre un vétéran de cette expérience dès son arrivée à l’UFC ferait immédiatement passer son statut à un autre niveau.

Pour Hooker, c’est l’occasion de rappeler pourquoi il a passé autant d’années parmi les meilleurs lightweights de la planète.

More and more I’m learning that the stories we consume matter. They shape the lens through which we see the world. Despite the nerves I’m always deeply grateful for these media opportunities to share my voice and give back to the community and country that has shaped and supported my own journey.

It’s stands as a gentle reminder to myself that and I have a voice, and I hope a reminder to anyone that needs it that we can get through hard things, one day at a time.

Resilience isn’t about never struggling. It’s about continuing, and being determined in our pursuit of joy.
