Nordstrom x Edward Jones x Women's Venture Summit! 🛍️

Last night we had the amazing opportunity to host a private shopping event with Nordstrom and their Fashion Valley styling team.

Thank you so much to our Women's Venture Summit team, to my dear friend Skyler McCurine at Edward Jones for helping put this together, to the Nordstrom stylists, and to all the ladies in the room. This was such a fun and cool pre-event for WVS, and we're so thankful for everyone who joined us! Women supporting women in every way. 🩷

If you want experiences like this, this is your sign to sign up for Women's Venture Summit and check out our other pre-event opportunities. Click the link in bio to learn more!

Pitching at Women's Venture Summit? Here's what I'll be looking for!

After backing 250+ startups, two things stand out to me most when a founder steps onto the pitch floor:

1. Founder-market fit: Show me why you're the person who truly understands your customer and your market, whether that comes from lived experience, research, or both.
2. Competitive advantage: Tell me what makes your business model and your go-to-market plan stand apart from everyone else's.

And bring your passion! Know what your customers love most and what traction you've built so far.

Have questions or want a second set of eyes on your pitch? DM me before Women's Venture Summit and let's get you ready! Click the link in bio to secure your spot too.

Prize money alert! 💰

Lex and I have something exciting to share about the Women's Venture Summit pitch competition.

The pitch competition is a highlight of the summit every year, and this year we're doing it a little differently. Founders will be building WeFunder campaigns, and the winner takes home a $10,000 cash prize. Lex is putting in $5,000 and so am I!

We love seeing what happens when people team up and find new ways to activate capital, and we're cheering on every founder who steps up to pitch.

When a BIZZ BITCH does cool shit, we SHOW UP. 🖤

One of my favorite things about this community? Watching our members out in the real world doing incredible things, hosting events, building businesses, bringing people together, and creating their own magic.

And you better believe we’re going to hype them the fuck up.

Because one of the biggest perks of being part of a REAL community isn’t just having people to network with.

It’s having women who actually show up for you.

Women who share your events, buy your tickets, bring their friends, celebrate your wins, and help get more eyes on the incredible things you’re building.

**Community isn’t just about who shows up for our events. It’s about how we show up for EACH OTHER.**

So here’s a little October love for our BIZZ BITCH members who are hosting some pretty badass IRL experiences around San Diego.

Go check them out, grab a ticket, bring a friend, and show these women some love!

And if you’re building something and wishing you had a room full of women who genuinely gave a damn about seeing you win...

Maybe it’s time to find your BIZZ BITCHES. 🖤

DM me BITCH to come experience the community for yourself.

Apparently I’ve decided to spend this month working on myself.

Not sure who approved this plan. 😂

So far, the results are….questionable.

But hey, self-awareness is growth, right?

What are YOU working on this month? 👀

EARLY BIRD tickets to Women's Venture Summit are available now through Friday! 🎟️

Here's why this year is worth it: leaders across our ecosystem are coming together to meet the need for more investors and more founders who are doing good and doing well. Conversations at the summit over the years also showed us how much women want to learn about their own personal finances and growing wealth, so we can raise up the next generation of investors as well as founders.

And that brings us to a huge thank you to Lex, founder of Here WE Rise Foundation, for joining us as a Women's Venture Summit sponsor in our 13th year! 🩷 That's exactly where Here WE Rise comes in, and we love seeing a partner who walks the walk.

We're also so grateful to the amazing team and partners making this happen: Morgan Spenla (@morganspenla), Impact Seat Foundation (@impactseat108), Naseem Sayani (@nasmalibu @thecapitalflexpodcast), IFEL (@weareifel), Women in Cloud (@womenincloud), Debbie Chen (@dkchebbz), and so many more!

Want to pull up a chair next to us? Click the link in bio to grab yours or DM us for a discount code. Don't wait!
