I’m a portrait photographer, and these are 13 photographs I could never take again.

Not because I can’t return to these places, because I probably can.
But that person won’t stand there again. That shadow won’t fall in exactly the same place. The moment has passed. The light will change. Life will move on.
But that’s what I love about photography.
I’m not trying to recreate perfect moments. I’m trying to be there when something real happens, and recognize it before it disappears. I have others that I would love to include but it’s not time to share those just yet. Some moments hold too much emotion that we aren’t ready for.
None of these could happen twice. And that’s why I’m telling you- take the damn photo before it’s lost.
