A big thank you to the North Fork Country Club for opening their doors to W.E.B. tonight and making us feel so welcome!

What a great turnout for our monthly meeting. It was wonderful to see familiar faces, meet some new ones, and enjoy such warm hospitality.

And the sushi! We’ll be talking about that for a while. As they say, membership has its perks, and tonight’s house-made sushi was certainly one delicious perk! 🍣

Thank you for a wonderful evening! 💙
See you all next month!

Arrived & unpacked today are 3 mixed media paintings from SUSAN GIBLIN’s Kimono Collection.

Seeing these in the flesh confirms that one doesn’t get the full impact of art when looked at on a screen.

Check out these by @sbgpaints in person at WRG.
See them! You will be intrigued.
In a word… Fabulous!

Gallery hours: Thursday - Monday, noon-5.

North Fork Country Club ⛳️ 🎾

This week on NOFO LIVE, we caught up with Raluca Pintea, General Manager of North Fork Country Club, who has been part of the club for eight seasons, to talk about what makes this historic Cutchogue club so special.

Established in 1912, North Fork Country Club is about more than golf. It’s a place where families gather, friendships grow, and members find a club that feels like home.

💙 In this episode:
• Golf, tennis, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere
• A rich history dating back to 1912
• Event spaces for weddings and special celebrations
• Giving back to the community through support for CAST, local fire departments, and the Butterfly Effect Project
• Hosting the @web_northfork meeting on October 13
• Membership inquiries are welcome, though there is currently a waitlist

Whether you’re interested in membership, planning a special event, or simply curious about this North Fork institution, tune in to hear more from Raluca.

Also stay till the end and you may or may not get a sneak peak at the 2 emmys that guest co-host @jaymeesire holds.

If you haven’t seen SUSAN GIBLIN’s work you’re in for a spellbinding treat. Each piece tells a story based on songs and titles of those songs. Susan’s work is complex. It’s intriguing. And these 3 kimono themed paintings arrive on Saturday.

See them in person. Indulge yourself.

Thank you, Susan for having WRG be the first to exhibit your newest paintings. I am honored,

This year’s FULL MOON ARTS COLLECTIVE group show is dedicated to member GINA GILMOUR whose passing last December was a huge loss to us all.

Gina was an active participant in the collective. She shared her art and personal insights along with anecdotes from her years of success and colorful life experiences in NYC.

A collection of Gina’s work will be included in the show.

About FULL MOON ARTS COOPERATIVE:
“Each of the artists in the Full Moon Arts collective has a long and distinguished career in various disciplines, from painting to photography, mixed media, collage, conceptual art, sculpture and poetry. Learning from each other influences the work of each member of the group. We expect to be challenged and enlightened by our fellow artists and all share in the joy of creating new works that are achieved through our joint experiences and exposure to each other’s talents and insights.”

Meet the artists at the opening reception on Saturday, October 3rd, 2-5pm. We will raise a glass to Gina Gilmour. 🥂

Participating artists are @valeriezeman @mikemclaughlinphoto @quoguestudio @peterbeston1 @malunowiczelizabeth @jonathan_pearlman @janekirkwoodnoko @ajurinich

While the ABSTRACT WOMEN are making a vibrant splash in the current group show, HOWARD ROSE’s small plein air works are doing what WRG does. Offering an extensive spectrum of work has been the gallery’s model since 1966.

As is WRG’s tag line “Ever-changing & Always Original”, the collection covers genres, mediums & price points. The constant is variety and excellence.

AND in a relaxed environment you can take your time and find your favorites.

Thank you HOWARD ROSE @harthrinc for being one in the gallery’s stable of year ‘round represented artists.

Gallery hours: Thursday - Monday, noon-5.
