Last night was one for the books. ✨
A beautiful evening celebrating community, storytelling, and the extraordinary composers, artists, and songwriters who make the screen come alive through music.

Major congratulations to our client @raychewlive on Macy’s Day Parade! 🎉

And while the evening was filled with incredible conversations around the realities of scoring for film & television — the creative highs, the hard lessons, the wins, and everything in between — our team was also thrilled to be part of the WFNM x Blue Buddha showcase with our incredible artist Lenka. 🎶✨

Two sides of the same creative ecosystem: celebrating the music being made for the screen while creating space for artists and songwriters to share their own voices.

And the talent in the room? Exceptional.

@jeffbealmusic on his nomination for Outstanding Limited Series for All Her Fault
@mrmattbiffa — Hacks, Outstanding Music Supervision
@daveporter_music — Pluribus
@amandacomposer — Murderbot
@toynejeff — Palm Royale
@krisbowersmusic & @michaeldeanparsons — Spider-Noir
…and so many more.

I’m incredibly grateful to work within a community that continues to push storytelling forward and remind us just how powerful music can be when it meets picture — and when artists are given the room to be heard.

Here’s to the people behind the scenes, the bold creative voices, and the human artistry that makes the work unforgettable. 🥂🎬🎶

Very grateful for these two, @officialsharonowens & @robbiehoward55 . 🤍

Almost 1.5 years ago, a few ideas started floating around in my head. I think it all began years before this idea came to light, though. I was influenced by young adults I’d meet in the crowd at Dead & Co. shows, and a few other things. I wondered why no one was talking about how vital it is for music to live on and be shared with future generations.

I decided I wanted to make a documentary about this topic. So I sat with the idea, although you all know I don’t really sit, so I guess I let this idea brew while I researched like crazy. I knew that if I still loved the idea and concept 30 days after its conception, I’d make a film about it. And to be honest, I loved it more and more each day. Anyone who’s ever made a film before, especially an indie film, knows you need to truly love the idea because it takes an enormous amount of tenacity to make it happen. 💫

A few months later, Robbie was the first artist I met and interviewed. He helped me fully understand how the world of impersonation evolved into tribute artistry and introduced me to some of the most talented, kind-hearted, amazing humans.

Then, over a year later, we were finally able to film his performance. As the timeline for this film has shifted, I thought we would be in post-production by now. However, there’s a reason we are still filming, and I see why now. I am extremely grateful for the most wonderful collaboration with all of the artists, doctors (yes, we have a neuroscientist and an ethnomusicologist on board), fans and supporters of @echoesoflegendsfilm , and the crew I’ve been able to collaborate with thus far. Especially the most amazingly positive music supervisor, @webb.worldwide .

Here’s a toast to all the artists who make it happen! And to the fans across the globe who show up and support films, art and musicians - none of us would be able to do what we do if it weren’t for you! 🥰🙏😘

Two tracks in Netflix’s XO, Kitty Season 3

For the uninitiated- the show is Netflix’s first TV spin-off of “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before”, created by Jenny Han (who wrote the original book trilogy). it follows Lara Jean’s younger sister Kitty Song Covey as she leaves home and enrols in a high school in Seoul, South Korea. Season 3 debuted at #1 globally with 12.9 million views in its first four days

…and in it: “Sugar” by NoSo and “Pacman” by eaJ. Many thanks to Lindsey Wolfington and Laura Webb on these placements!

NoSo is the project of Korean-American artist Baek Hwong- whose very name is shorthand for “North or South?”, the question they grew up being asked when they said they were Korean. eaJ is Jae Park- born in Argentina, raised in California, and formerly of South Korean band DAY6 before going solo. Two artists whose lives sit right at the intersection of Korean and American identity, in a show built around exactly that story.

Nothing beats being in the room where songs are born. ✍️🎶
Strangers become collaborators, collaborators become friends, and suddenly you’re racing the clock—writing to real briefs and performing what you just created. Pure magic.
Epic time under @thesongwritingschool’s roof with @lonewolflindsay and @webb.worldwide.
And shoutout to @thisisrobbiemcdonald, @khaliapowell, and @itskenjra for crafting one seriously sexy song with me. 🔥

My first feature film score, featuring @coryhenry @theloosh @taronlockett_ @ncbassphysics and full orchestra, is out today! What a thrilling ride. So fun to work with @olivia_holt and @connor_swindells ⭐🎄

I need to first and foremost thank director Michael Fimognari for believing in me and guiding me through every step of the process.

Thank you Cory, Lucia, TaRon and Nick for your incredible artistry and virtuosity, all of the orchestra players and @noahgladstone for recording this so well (and so quickly), @steve_genewick and @bakerymastering @eric.thebaker for making sure we sound good, @gracemakesmusic for all your assistance, and @bradritchie1m1 @onstaffmusic for making sure the music looks good.

Thank you @abendii @netflix and Jeff Kaplan for bringing me on board, @asap.rainey @amosn for your guidance, music supervisors @lonewolflindsay
@webb.worldwide for running the team, and music editor Kevin Crehan for showing me the ropes.

Enjoy the film everyone, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving week! 🎄❤️
