I’m still taking iPad app recommendations! 🤓 Also, for your viewing pleasure, here are some of my AWS notes from today. This storage section of this course seems very long but there is just so much detail that needs to be learned. Anyway, I’m enjoying the challenge! 😎 What are you guys up to?

Working on more logo styles today. Honestly, I don’t feel like I was very productive today. I know I did a good bit of work but there weren’t very many tasks that were checked off. Does this ever happen to you? Where you know you did a lot of work, but it just feels like nothing ever actually got done?

Nothing to see here really. Just some React notes. I think I now have a very solid handle on MongoDB, Express, and NodeJS so now I’m just trying to get to a point where I’m really comfortable with React to finish out that MERN stack. Then I’ll move back to React-Native for the mobile applications. Anyway, what are you working on today?

Dealt with stupid computer issues most of the day. Not sure exactly what was wrong, but after troubleshooting for about 3 hours I finally just restarted it and everything started working properly again. Other than actual work I have been learning more react native today as well as starting to build out a quote for a new client! Anybody else having computer issues today? If you are... that SUCKS... and I’m here for you..😂

Sometimes, my notes look so good I even impress myself! 🤓 But I also don’t have the best memory so I always try to make sure I have good notes! Do you take a lot of notes? How important are good notes to you?

What tools do you use for project planning/task scheduling? I have used @trelloapp for quite awhile now and on my team we use Jira which is another application by @atlassian. Honestly, I can’t speak highly enough about them. I look at these apps several times a day at least 6 days a week. But I also wouldn’t be as productive if I didn’t do that I’m pretty sure! 😂

Actually had a chance to work on some AWS stuff today. I’m about 25% finished but it hasn’t been the easiest. Having no previous experience means I really have to study some of this stuff to make it stick but already I have added so many news tools to the tool kit and I honestly can’t wait to learn more. What are y’all working on?

Today was frustrating... my work computer kept restarting randomly and making me lose bits of work throughout the day. And because of that I didn’t have much time to do any learning on anything. Hopefully will get a chance to do a little tonight before bed though.

I wanted to wait until it was in my possession to announce properly 😎 when I first started the journey I wasn’t 100% sure that I’d be able to stick through all the lessons and coursework. Between the pandemic and being on unemployment there was a lot of stress on my end. Coming from a non technical background there a lot to learn and grasp especially when it came to JavaScript. A lot of times I was ready to give up and just quit. I had to remind myself of all the commitments and time already invested, not just the money but the time spent pouring through books, videos and articles to pull through. I’m proud to say I have not just one but two certificates and a cool portfolio to match 😎 Definitely one of the most challenging things I’ve ever had to do in terms of accountability and discipline but it just goes to show that if you want something bad enough and are dedicated to the path it is possible. Onwards to applying for internships, entry level gigs and more learning. Junior dev at your service and I’ve been waiting baby 🤣🌊💯 Much love to sites like JS Hero, stackoverflow, freeCodeCamp, The Odin Project, Skillcrush, W3 School, CSS Tricks, Udemy, Mozilla, Dev.to, Codepen, Medium, Git Tower, Alligator.io, JS Bin, LearnersBucket, Frontend Mentor, and of course GitHub.

Happy Saturday folks! Why are you working on? I’m working on a new personal project today. This one will be straight node.js with express and MongoDB for the database. I have always been a huge fan of excel spreadsheets for budgeting because I can customize however I want. I can also visualize the data in any format that I want. So I figured, why not make myself a web app that I can setup just for me? So that’s what I’m doin.... 🤓 I’ve gotten everything setup now with all of the routes working and everything is running smoothly. Next up, setting up user profile view and data testing user auth.

Well it’s Friday. My productivity hit a bit of a wall today. Just never could really get into a groove. I did have a discussion today with someone that was very enlightening for me. To be honest, I’m still kind of unpacking it all, even though it was a rather short conversation.. maybe I’ll elaborate on this once I’ve figured it out for myself. Anyway, I think it’s time for a nap... 😂

Uh-oh!! Somebody has learned how to actually use photoshop! 😂 So yeah this is my first EVER edited photo... well beyond like filtering and stuff of course. And I decided to use my @logitech Mx Master 3 because it’s just amazing. I used @_affinity.photo_ to do this and it was honestly super easy. I may start editing more photos I post on here now that I have some dope software to work with! Just need to make sure I’m still able to study AWS, Python, React, React Native, machine learning, artificial intelligence, etc! 🤓 Happy Monday folks!!
