As we dive into Part 2 of my Wedding Photography: $2500 vs $6000+ Educational Series, we’re going to discuss the importance of double-recording images on Wedding Days 
Double Recording practices can make a huge difference in mitigating the loss of images, protecting your most precious wedding memories A memory card can get corrupted in a handful of ways: improper ejection, power loss, file system error, physical damage, virus or malware, overuse / age, incompatibility, card formatting issues, etc. When a photographer’s SD (memory card) gets corrupted, they’re lucky if they can recover some of the data. If not, they’re SOL and so is the couple. It’s a nightmare scenario that sometimes happens, but there’s an easy way to mitigate this loss of data, which is to simply record to two memory cards...so double recording as a backup! If this is important to you, ask these questions during photographer consultations to ensure your images are safe: 1. Do you use dual memory card slots in your camera for double recording? 2. What’s your backup plan if a memory card fails during the wedding day? 3. How do you store and back up the images after the wedding? 4. Have you ever experienced a situation where a memory card failed during a wedding? How did you handle it? Your Wedding Day is one you’ve invested so much time, emotion, and funds into. 5 Tips for How To Wear Your Suit from @friartux! 1) Fit is Crucial: Make sure the suit is well-tailored, fitting snugly through the shoulders and waist with pants that break just above the shoe 2) Button Correctly: Always button the top button when standing and leave the bottom unbuttoned. A two-button suit should fit snugly through the shoulders and chest, tapering at the waist for a clean silhouette. Your jacket shouldn’t pull at the button or sleeves and pants should break just above the shoe 3) Tie it Right: Your tie should cover the top button and sit flat against your neck with no gaps. I’m a big fan of a Windsor knot for that classic, balanced look (it gives a more finished feel compared to the single Windsor) 4) Boutonnière Placement: Whether a flower or a lapel pin, it goes on the left side of your jacket near the buttonhole and breast pocket. Make sure it’s placed high enough to cover the buttonhole and sit above the pocket for the best look! 5) Sleeve Length: The rule is about ¼ to ½ inch of your shirt sleeve should peek out past your jacket sleeve. That’s roughly the width of a dime—so don’t let too much show!
