Although its been "ruff" going in these woods of the Great North, this is no time to be grousing around! If it wasn't for this challenge, I wouldn't be here. This is what keeps me coming back!

The mighty New Hampshire Ruffed Grouse! It's tough up here this year, but I finally made it happen! I have one more day before we get blown down with this heavy rain. No matter what, I'm in my favorite place with my favorite people! I love this chase!

Seabass fishing is red hot. Full boat limit and even a bonus seabass with a tag! The G-man was on the meat with his first ever seabass limit! Fluking is another story. Tons of small fish with what seems to be 1 keeper for every 100 shorts. Im sure they are out there, but definitely not in big schools on the grounds I've been on. Scup has been solid as well. If you read this far, albies are here. They were coming completely out of the water and they were big.

Just living off the land the best way I know how. Sometimes, you just need to take a hike to build up an appetite.

Golden chanterelle, smooth chanterelle, cinibar red chanterelle, bicolor bolete, chestnut bolete, and dotted stalk suillus.

Let the miles begin.

Awesome evening at the Northeast Big Buck Club banquet receiving an award for my Rhode Island 156 7/8" 14 point non-typical sheds. The best part was receiving this award with my beautiful wife @wec.ashley by my side and great friends @alt_ego_burton @loganburton1137 @ri_sportfishing @jennifer.odonnell.1223 we all covered some ground this season!

Let's not forget @ri_sportfishing with his incredible CT 171 6/8" shed set as well! Congrats buddy! These things don't come by easy.

Let's see what the 2026-2027 season brings us all!

Take a kid fishing. It will change their life. Plus, now this kid can stop stealing all of my fish sandwiches and catch his own. All jokes aside, we had an absolute blast! The G man has grown a passion for the ocean and I love it!
