Mercedes and Edward married in August at Bentley Estates in Sussex, after changing their plans from a wedding at home to a celebration at the estate owned by a family friend.

🤍 Featured, loved & recommended

The lovely bride wore Maggie Sottero, the styling and decor was undertaken by the couple’s talented antiques loving mums and their sweet daughter was official flower girl on the day. Beautiful memories captured by our much loved and recommended vendor, the lovely Lucy Dracott.

“We would recommend our photographer Lucy Dracott forever! Lucy was the best. She was recommended to us by our photographer from our registry wedding and we could not be happier.

Lucy’s photography is so stunning and it was such a pleasure having Lucy with us for the day. She fit right in and everyone had such lovely things to say about her.”

It is impossible to put into words how extraordinarily fabulous the second day of the Treasures Royal Gems & Jewellery International Colloquium was in terms of the Portuguese Royal Jewels and Honours that were awaiting us. Divided into groups, some learning the history Ajuda National Palace, a neoclassical building which became a royal residence of King Luis I until the end of the Portuguese monarchy in 1910. State ceremonies are still conducted here to this day. It is an amazing step back in time and certainly worth visiting. Then the groups swapped places and entered the Museu do Tesouro Real, open since 2022 and home of the Portuguese Royal Crown Jewels and Military Orders .. and incredible collection of the most incredible jewels, a small selection of which has been shown .. we cannot thank our hosts enough for their hospitality and guidance throughout our tours of the museum and the palace, we learnt so much, and we will all be back again! The afternoon’s proceedings were completed by a wonderful presentation by Paolo Estrela and Rui Galopim de Carvalho. #jvaregisteredvaluer #treasures #lisbon #royaljewels #education #honours #gemstones #diamonds
