#PawsOfFreedom 🇮🇳🐾💕
#independencedaycelebration

THANK YOU ❤️🐾

To everyone who donated, joined us, walked with us, fed with us, and stood beside our Indies — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

You helped make this Independence Day a little more meaningful — bringing freedom, kindness and safety to those who share our streets.

One of the most heartwarming sights was seeing young children so eager and enthusiastic to feed, care for and show affection towards our streeties. A huge kudos to the young parents who are nurturing compassion and teaching their children to be kind to all living beings.

Seeing this gives us hope — and the beautiful assurance that our future generations are in good hands. ❤️

#PawsOfFreedom 🇮🇳🐾

Hoping to see YOU there!❤️

Today, we’re celebrating freedom a little differently.

Weekend Edit 05: The Paws of Freedom, in collaboration with Wooffers, is a community day dedicated to our beloved stray indie dogs who call Darjeeling’s streets their home.

We are celebrating Independence Day by feeding strays, learning about adoption & fostering, hearing real rescue stories, joining a short community walk, and capturing portraits with the friendliest streeties around.

Because freedom isn’t just for us. It’s for every stray who deserves a safe street, a full bowl, and a little kindness.

Things to do in Darjeeling this Independence Day? 🇮🇳

This year, we’re celebrating freedom a little differently.

Weekend Edit 05: The Paws of Freedom, in collaboration with Wooffers, is a community day dedicated to the strays and indie dogs who call Darjeeling’s streets their home.

We are spending 15 August feeding strays, learning about adoption & fostering, hearing real rescue stories, joining a short community walk, and capturing portraits with the friendliest streeties around.

Because freedom isn’t just for us. It’s for every stray who deserves a safe street, a full bowl, and a little kindness.
