When you spend months planning a wedding together, and sometimes even years, our couples start to feel a lot like family.

And family keeps cheering for you long after the last dance.

Which is why we are SO excited to see our groom, Rohil, featured in GQ talking all things groom’s fashion!

For his wedding weekend, Rohil wore four different looks, but his favorite was the ivory Indo-Western sherwani he wore for the ceremony, created by a small atelier in Bombay, where his family is from.

Covered in resham threadwork, zardozi-style hand embroidery, peacocks and elephants, the look was rooted in heritage while coordinating beautifully with Ashna’s bridal lehenga.

And the shoes? There’s a story there too. 👀

Knowing the bride’s side would traditionally try to steal Rohil’s shoes during the ceremony, his mom secretly had TWO extra pairs made for his groomsmen so they could swap them out and keep the real pair safe. 😂

The fashion. The culture. The family scheming. We love every bit of it.

Congratulations, Rohil! Seeing our couples celebrated long after the wedding weekend is over will never stop being exciting. ✨

An evening rich in tradition, colour, and connection.

From the detailed craftsmanship of every outfit to the music, dancing, and family moments woven throughout the celebration, this Sangeet brought warmth and energy to every corner of Fairlie. A beautiful blend of cultural heritage and modern elegance, all under one roof.
