Costa Rica, you changed my heart forever. 🇨🇷🤍

Serving at a kids camp was one of the greatest blessings. I went hoping to make a difference, but I left feeling like I was the one who learned the most.

Even though we didn’t speak the same language, I realized that a smile, a hug, and simply showing love can say more than words ever could. Those moments reminded me that kindness is a language everyone understands.

I’m so grateful to God for this opportunity and for every child, leader, and memory that made this trip so special. A piece of my heart will always be in Costa Rica. Until next time.

church camp 2026

To @campeagletx , you were not a disappointment.

For years, I have always wanted to go to church camp, but I could never build up the courage to go. This year, I have really been focusing on praying and asking God to help me grow closer to Him and strengthen our relationship. He answered those prayers by giving me the opportunity to attend Camp Eagle a safe place surrounded by people who truly love the Lord and want to make Heaven crowded.

Over these past few days, Jesus has taught me that I need to allow changes in my life that will bring me closer to Him. @discoverchurchtx has brought me closer to the Lord and people I never knew I needed. These people have helped me more in just a few days than I could have ever imagined. You don’t realize how much sharing your burdens can help not only yourself, but others who have struggled with the same things.

One thing I learned this week is that no matter what you are going through, God is always there. Life may change, circumstances may change, but the Word of God never does.

Thank you, Camp Eagle, Discover Church, and my AMAZING counselors for helping me grow in my walk with Christ and reminding me that I am never alone. I will forever be grateful for the friendships, memories, and lessons that I am taking home with me.
