Those newborn days are so special, and having the right essentials makes life a little easier! Here are the items I absolutely loved during the newborn stage:

🤱 Fabric Baby Wrap – Mine is from @weesproutco ! Perfect for keeping baby close, right with you. It’s comforting for mama and baby. Reduces sids and ppd. ++this is a plus for breastfeeding 🤱

☁️ Baby Lounger – We have the @fisherprice one, which is on its third baby. Safe to say its a keeper and WELL used!

🧷 @huggies Diapers – Soft, comfy, and we’ve had no leaks! A must have ill do a review line up of diapers soon.

👶 Footless Sleepers – An absolute game changer for quick and easy diaper changes, especially during those late night changes!

🌙 @lovetodream Sleep Sacks – The design is perfect for the newborn stage, and I love how thoughtfully they’re made for little ones.

Every baby is different, but these were some of our favorite newborn essentials in our first week home! 🤍 Save this for your baby registry or share it with a mama to be! 🫶🏼

There’s something special about the friends who become family… because somewhere along the way, their kids become your kids’ cousins too.

So when the cousins are over, apparently I’m running a tiny lunchroom. 😂 Nothing fancy, just an easy kids lunch, four little plates and a house full of noise.

These ordinary days with people we love are really the good stuff.

Who else has friends whose kids are basically family at this point?

Two years of this little kitchen of hers and the progress she’s made. Comment KITCHEN and I’ll send you links to everything we used to create her functional independent kitchen.

The practical life skills she’s learned and the fun she’s had bring so much joy! It was definitely messy, especially in the beginning, but I personally loved it and think there are ways to make it more manageable.

Nowadays she’s at our kitchen washing her water bottles, baby sister’s bottles and my pump parts because she genuinely thinks it’s so fun. I’ve always believed my job is to prepare the environment and then let her learn she’s capable of doing it.

I tested it so you don’t have to. 🧪

One smoothie-filled cup🥤
One flip.

They said leakproof… watch to see how it held up. 👀
Would you trust it near your couch? 👇

We’re on the go A LOT, so when we’re home, lunch needs to be quick.

I try to build their plates with a mix of what we have on hand, sometimes that means freezer @applegate nuggets + tots, fresh green beans and blueberries. Nothing complicated, everybody ate, and that’s a win!

Now I need to know: what quick freezer foods are always in your house for the kids? I’m looking for more options to add to our rotation because nuggets are currently holding it down every week.

Comment MOM below to receive a DM with the links to some of our favs that have made life easier.

Motherhood got a little lighter when I stopped believing that harder automatically meant better.

I can love my babies deeply and still use the things that make mom life easier. I can protect time for my marriage. I can leave room on the family calendar. I can serve the easy lunch. And I can appreciate an ordinary Wednesday without feeling like I need to turn it into more.

Because intentional motherhood isn’t about doing everything. Sometimes it’s choosing what matters, using the shortcut, and being present enough to enjoy the season you’re actually in.

Mom to mom, what’s something you’ve stopped making harder than it needs to be?

Drop a 🥞 for the recipe!

I think my kids were done with theirs before I even sat down with mine 😆

Ditch the store-bought mix and make your own! I promise it’s super simple 🤎

Organic baby spinach for my homegrown baby 🌱

Option to add one or both:
+ organic puree strawberry
+ organic unsweetened apple sauce

We had both in the fridge so I did a little combo ✨

A little peek at what my 2yo ate in a day 🧸🍽️

The BEFORE ➡️ the AFTER 🥹

Some days he eats everything. Some days he eats a few bites and calls it a meal.

No pressure, just real toddler eating over here!

What’s the one food your toddler would eat every single day? With my guy, it’s greek yogurt!
