It’s another Forty Five Friday, the best day on the gram.
I don’t show this Wilson Combat X-TAC enough love so I took a few extra pics today. This was my first “high end” 1911 and it has ties to two very good friends, one who has since passed away.
This gun was special ordered by a friend who was working at Classic Pistol in Southampton PA, for a friend who I shot competition with for many years. I’m pretty sure it was ordered with just about every option available back in 2012. Fast forward to about 2017 when I was working at Classic Pistol. My shooting buddy came in to put the gun on consignment and when I took it out of the Wilson Combat pistol bag, it was love at first feel. Needless to say it never made the consignment case and my love for 1911’s was ignited.

RIP Nick. I miss you buddy.
