Lovingly dressing my bump this pregnancy ♥️ my first pregnancy came with a lot of self judgment on how I thought I should look/dress while pregnant, but having been through a pregnancy and all of the body changes that come with it once before I’m just excited to be here, trying to feel as good as I can, but more than that being grateful for where I am ♥️ have I already put on quite a bit of weight? Yes! Is it because I’m hungry all of the time, I mean obviously, did I do this the first time? Yes! But honestly I don’t care, this time I’m enjoying dressing my body during all of its phases of life & motherhood without self judgment & it feels SO much better this way ♥️

With Black Friday around the corner … do we look after our clothes more if they’re vintage or rare? 👀vs a cheap fast fashion item you didn’t even really want!

I recently was chatting to @byvickimalone who really sparked a thought about what makes us look after our clothes better? Her thought, the fact it is vintage and rare, IRREPLACEABLE!💛

This vintage Moschino waistcoat that I got from @wegofullcircle 2 years ago, is a piece that I LOVE and I am so careful with because I know trying to replace it would be hard 😭

So maybe the key to slowing down our consumption and saying no to fast fashion is treating our clothes like they are all irreplaceable, instead of just throwing them away and getting new ones!💛

She has one hand holding her bag in front of her in the middle of her body by its handle and her other hand is holding the case of her bag. Her arms are bent at the elbow and she looks yo the right and has her hair down. She is wearing a hot pink shirt shirt that has a dark blue pinstripe that she got in a charity shop, a blue, pink, green and white tartan wool tie, a pair of light pink wool high waisted tailored trousers which she also got second hand, a pair of white leather loafers that she got second hand. To finish off the look she has a pair of vintage Dior glasses, a fluffy green bag from orla Kiely and jhumka earrings. As a fun little statement piece, she also has on a vintage black wool waistcoat that has a pink pig on the front from Moschino.
