It was a beautiful day for a workout. 3×3 miles at marathon pace. 26 days until the #berlinmarathon I tried out the #pumafastrnitroelite2 (Thanks @christacollins29!!!)

I had seen posts from these folks through @trampleathleticclub for a while and thought "Wow these people are fast and they run far". Then @lapicsp1 invited me to run with them. I did not think I could hang at all. But I gave it a shot anyway. Try it and see, right? I ran 15 miles that 1st time (had only gone that far once) in December and have been able to hang with them in general, because a rising tide raises all ships or whatever. Anyway, I'm glad that I've had a chance to just try and see what my body can do. And it's been great to be with regular folks who also happen to like to run for a long time on Saturday mornings! 174 miles MTD, 1575 YTD

(Not pictured @campbelljeffrey20 and @stellar_brah---who is in this photo but Garmin cut him out😕)

We want to give a big shoutout to three of our super awesome (and super fast) runners who impress us every day with their commitment to pushing themselves on the road.

@peachrunner26.2, @weimnrunner, and @lady_godby did a test run on the new @lexmed Heart and Sole course ahead of the May 17th race.

Join Shawanna, Joyce, and Shannon by signing up at HeartAndSoleRun.com.

Super speed like theirs not required. 😉

Struggle to Strength; Crossing the finish line is a reminder that YOU can REWRITE your story—no matter your age, weight, or season. You are never too far gone, never too late and never too broken to chase something that sets your soul on fire.

This weekend I ran my third half marathon and with every mile, I reflected on how far I’ve come—not just in running, but in life. This journey hasn’t been easy. There were seasons of darkness, moments where I felt trapped by my own body, battling gut issues, debilitating self doubt and the frustration that comes with feeling like your mental health is out of your control. There were days when even the smallest victories felt impossible.

But running has been my reminder that healing is possible, that strength is built in the struggle. Every step, every breath, every mile has been a testament to resilience. Some runs felt like freedom, others like a fight—but I kept showing up, kept believing in my ability to overcome and kept surrounding myself with people who were doing the same. Ohh and I got a coach who taught me to trust the process and to keep pushing 🥹

This race wasn’t just about hitting my goals. It was about proving to myself that I am stronger than my hardest days, that my body is capable, that I am still moving forward—not just surviving, but thriving. Running has taught me patience, endurance and the power of pushing through when things feel impossible. We push, we grow, we keeping moving forward… one step at a time.

This weekend was a blur, but it was one for the record books. And this? This is just the beginning. Ohh and for the actual record— 2:28! I DID IT! 13 minute PR and I ran every freaking step, except when I had to 🚽 *please don’t compare paces/numbers if it negatively effects your mental health*

I like big bugs and I cannot lie! Whether it’s watching praying mantis cases explode, releasing green lacewings and lady bugs into my garden I LOVE IT. The only question is WHY DO I NOT HAVE MONARCH CATERPILLARS ON MY TONS AND TONS OF MILKWEED?!? Amiright @weimnrunner ?
