𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐀-𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐀 𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐁𝐔𝐎 🫶🏼

Some of the most important scenes in Tayo Lang Ang Nakakaalam were made possible through the generosity and support of Mary Johnston Hospital - Tondo.

Maraming salamat sa buong team ng @maryjohnstonhospital for welcoming our production and allowing us to shoot our hospital sequences within your premises. We truly appreciate everyone who assisted, accommodated, and worked with us throughout the shoot.

A special thank you as well to @mandpcreatives for making this engagement possible and for assisting us throughout the entire process—from coordination and preparations to the actual shoot!

It takes a whole team to bring a film to life, and we’re grateful to everyone who helped make these scenes possible 💙

Before August ends, magdadrama muna ako with a TLAN appreciation post for a chapter worth remembering 🫶🏼 (swipe through message captions)

Thank you for believing in me since Day 1 kahit ako mismo ang minsan na napapatanong kung deserve ko ba at kaya ko ba harapin ang mga opportunity as a first-timer. Napakarami nating pinagdaanan ate sa pagbuo ng TLAN, but I won’t have it any other way. For sure, marami pa tayong projects and life happenings at lalaban ako with you sa mga susunod pang ganaps. And on top of all that, thank you for being my ate na kasangga at kakampi sa lahat ng mga ganap sa buhay, love you my ate! @weirdsha

Ms. KC @kesibells , thank you so much for trusting me sa isang napakalaking responsibilidad. Mami gels @gela.colada , the best kaaa thank you for being such an amazing partner sa journey na to, naiinspire ako sa umaapaw mong puso para sa industriya. Keep doing what you love mwah! P

MY FIRST CINEMALAYA GIG 🎬🇵🇭

honestly, it still feels surreal that i’m part of a cinemalaya full-length entry. who would have imagined that my role in our student film organization (@mapuafilm) would expand to a larger scale? 🙇🏻‍♂️

when i was tapped again for this project, pinag-isipan ko muna talaga kasi hindi ko alam if kakayanin ko bang makipag-penetrate sa isang pelikula na part of the country’s established film festivals, lalo na’t makikipagsapalaran ako sa mga entries na may malalaking marketing machineries.

but i set aside those doubts and said yes. indeed, walang pagsisisi kasi kahit naging challenging ang mga bagay-bagay, kinaya ko!

multiple edits, saluhan ng tasks, coordinating with people — lahat na yata ng marketing duties ay danas ko ~ pero nairaos din 🙌🏻

──────────────────

isang malaking pasasalamat kina Direk @dementoman and Ms. @kesibells (Producer) for trusting and believing in my skills para sa pelikulang ito. literally, kasama ko na sila from the start (my former college profs btw) and i’m just proud that we’ve finally reached this point.

@miguelodron, and Sir @epyquizon, for an amazing performance. very deserve ang best ensemble! i’m glad that i was able to meet you all at maraming salamat po sa pag-commend sa’king works 🥺

and to my family, friends etc. (di ko na po kayo maisa-isa) who’ve shown support with this milestone of mine, thank you so much 🤍

──────────────────

hopefully, this wouldn’t be my last cinemalaya gig (manifesting) 🙏🏻

this is FRANZ.

- Direk David Corpuz @dementoman 🤎🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🇵🇭

@cinemalayaofficial hanggang August 18 ito! Kita-kits sa sinehan!
