TONITE Oakland shoegazers WELCOME STRAWBERRY @welcomestrawberry take the stage at Thee Stork Club. Known for their gauzy, nostalgic sound, they’re joined by San Diego’s SPARKLER @sparkler.band who trade typical heavy textures for bright, melodic intensity; and ARTIFICIAL MUSCLE with ethereal soundscapes for the immaterial world. Opening the night is SF’s sludgy grungegaze BED BUG GURU !! @bedbugguru

Y’all, we can’t believe it’s been a WEEK since our last episode of ~psme radio~ on @kalxradio but it was SO MUCH FUN to spin some SLICK tracks on a beautiful Sunday in Berkeley. As you can see, we played SO MUCH NEW MUSIC from the Bay Area and beyond—alongside some all-time favorites to help get your autumn rolling.

Miss out on the show and wanna check out some URGENT and EMOTIONAL music peppered with all of our twisted commentary and awkward oversharing? YOU’RE IN LUCK!!!

Just waltz on over to the archive at kalx.berkeley.edu (or check out our link in bio) to stream our three hour block that is bringing you the #eastbayemorevival.

The final edition of White Crate’s 2026 summer live music series is this Saturday, October 3rd from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and we’re taking the party straight to our secret garden in the Mission! Curated by San Francisco’s own Afterthought—the powerhouse MC behind The Top Chefs and founder of Stoop Sessions—we’re bringing that iconic stoop energy into the garden for one unforgettable afternoon. Expect a stacked lineup featuring live hip-hop, jazz, and soul from The Top Chefs, genre-defying beats by 2EZ, and a few secret guest appearances you won’t want to miss. We’ll also have legendary paella served up by Chef Azcona and a bar raising funds directly for the artists. Space in the garden is super limited, so hit the link in our bio (or scan the QR code) to RSVP and unlock the secret address before it fills up. See you Saturday!

It’s so hot! It must be fall in the Bay.

On Monday, Coyote published a great article written by our very own Ronny about the new DIY imprint Names to Love You By. The record label is a home for queer and trans folks to create unvarnished, vulnerable work, and we’re so stoked they’re pushing the envelope forward for the underground arts scene here in the Bay. Head over to Coyote to get all the details.
