A stripped-back and impactful public awareness campaign confronts the financial barriers New Zealanders face to accessing life-changing medicine. Created in collaboration with McCann, Supernormal’s Reagen Butler directs a powerful PSA highlighting the thousands of New Zealanders who cannot access life-changing medicines that are routinely funded elsewhere in the world. Backed by a coalition of 17 patient organisations, the campaign began with an immersive installation at Auckland’s Shed 10, where hundreds of medicines were displayed behind locked doors, each representing a real illness, a real patient community and a real story. Exclusive: Extended ‘Forbidden Pharmacy’ campaign from @mccannnewzealand @lovedotdotdash and @welcometosupernormal captures the heartbreaking stories from patients who cannot access life-saving medicines because they are not currently funded by the New Zealand government. Backed my 17 patient organisations, the immersive public awareness campaign began with an activation last month, putting locked-away medicines on display to steer the country’s election debate. One of the patients states “Knowing there is a better quality of life, but it’s behind a paywall the government refuse to fund, it’s almost like It’s taunting”. Director @reagenbutler told LBB’s Tom Loudon “this type of work is, to me right now at this point in my career, the thing I care the most about”. Read more via the link in the bio

Help supporters know where The Line is. That's the idea behind the latest initiative for the @2degreesnz SupportHer Club, our latest work designed to help keep more girls in sport. Working with girls across New Zealand, we're transforming sidelines into real-time reminders of the words they want to hear from supporters, and the words that cross the line. A huge thank you to the girls for sharing their honesty and enthusiasm, the NZRU for their support, and our production partners for helping bring this idea to life. See you on a very special sideline soon.
