Raised by strong women. Pa’Trice Frazier, Master Welder, on self confidence and owning your skills. She was a professional welder for 7 years before seeing another women on the job site. She’s experienced a ton of racism and sexism throughout her 15+ year career, and now shes on a mission to increase diversity and representation in her trade, and to use her trade to change communities. ***Live Stream Tonight on YouTube!! 5pm Pacific | 8pm Eastern. Link in Bio*** We talk often about how the trades is heavily male dominated, this is not news. Let's be honest though, it is specifically predominantly white men. This week's guest is all too familiar with the lack of diversity in the trades in general and specifically in the welding industry. Pa'Trice Frazier is the only Black Female Welding instructor in the Philadelphia Metro area, and is a nationally recognized master welder. She is committed to bringing more diversity to the industry she loves and through her company @weldjointed she is, in her own words, "on a mission to raise awareness and be a brand ambassador for welding as a career and to teach skills to anyone who ever hoped for more out of life." Dynamic and passionate, Pa'Trice has a wealth of experience as a welder and an instructor. I'm looking forward to hearing about her journey, all the incredible things she is up to and to having a candid and incredibly important conversation about the intersection of race and gender in the industrial trades. So grab a drink, bring your questions and tune in to YouTube tonight for an episode of With Her Two Hands you don’t want to miss! *** #withhertwohands #bogi #podcast #livestream #tradeswomen #womenintrades #womenwhoweld #blackwelders #blackfemalewelder #blackwomeninthetrades #weldlife #diversity #blackwomeninbusiness #realtalk

Marc set up his Welders Playground TM today in class and got to practice in the flat, horizontal, and vertical positions! Practiced some 2G as well and he did an excellent job producing some solid welds! It’s so amazing to see his hard work pay off week to week and excited for more upcoming interviews! #weldersplayground #theweldingworkshop #weldingtraining #smawwelding

It has been a blast helping my newest student learn basic electrical theory, isometric drawing, welding anatomy and we will be covering blueprint reading and theory more in depth. This student will be training with @theweldingworkshop for the next several months in preparation for the @americanweldingsociety AWS D 1.1 3G and 4G certification in SMAW - shielded metal arc welding! So glad to have such an enthusiastic and focused student who is dedicated to a career change from IT to Welding! What advice would you share with my student Marc? Tips, tricks, words of encouragement?! Share in the comments below!! #careerchange #weldingcareer #newstudent #weldingcommunity #theweldingworkshop #weldscience #weldtheory #weldingprogram #weldingcurriculum #weldingcertification #longislandweldingprogram #womanownedbusiness

Everlast is all put back together and shipped across the country to get warranty work done. Excited to get the @everlastwelders back up and running, she was 3 years old and never had an issue up till this point. Welded a lot of very cool projects.
