I still can’t quite believe a FaceTime with @sharmen_r in January 2025 led to me opening a STRONG in Oxford. Feels a bit bonkers if I’m honest.

Training has been a huge part of my life since 2014, and it became a coping mechanism for my mental health. For structure. For confidence. For those 60 minutes where the noise in my head would finally go quiet.

The first STRONG class I ever did in Leicester, I was hooked. Not just because it was a wicked 45 min class with an incredible concept and instructors, but because of the men and women in the room.

Different ages, shapes, backgrounds - all grafting, and leaving so chuffed with themselves at the end. That stuck with me… and seeing the impact @strongleicester had on my sister, who’s spent years allergic to weight training, and anything outside her comfort zone.

The last 9 months have been so incredibly testing. Moments of doubt (and more breakdowns than I’d like to admit). Moments of exhaustion. Moments where the safe option would have been to stop. Even with how tough it’s been, I’ve also met some of the most incredible people along the way! ❤️

This space was never just about opening a studio. It’s about creating a place people walk into and feel stronger - mentally and physically. More confident. More capable. Happier.

This has been a massive personal leap… and there’s another part that means the world to me.

Khanom’s Wellness & Recovery (@khanoms_wellness ) is next - dedicated to the superwoman that is my mother. Her strength has carried seven children through life, and she’s been the backbone of our family in every sense alhamdulilah 🤍

If you’ve already walked through our doors - thank you for starting the journey with me and the team, it means the absolute world!

And if you haven’t yet… this is your sign. To try something new. To back yourself. To be part of a community that genuinely wants to see you win and grow.
