This week was all about the incredible Yayoi Kusama.

I just love her use of bold bright colours and repetitive patterns. She's such an interesting woman and still creating art in her 90s. A true inspiration ❤️

My students each created wonderful interpretations of her work.

Our lesson today focused on creating texture, emulating VanGogh's famous 'impasto' technique.

Just look at the results!

Glorious bursts of sunshine coming from these acrylic sunflowers 🌻💛

This week was all about colour, just look at this gorgeous palette 🎨❤️

The students created some vibrant pieces using the #colourfield artists as inspiration and the final results are fab!

A good dose of colour therapy will cheer anyone up on this grey and rainy day.

What colour makes you smile?

Everything about these photos make me smile!

It was amazing to be teaching again and welcoming my wonderful students to the 'Intro to Acrylics' course.

Our first lesson of the year @colindalecommunities

I look forward to watching the creativity unfold over the next 10 weeks.

Met with @wellnesswithtg at University today, speaking of his trials and tribulations inventing and marketing the #beamblock before and after he appeared on the Dragon’s Den TV show a couple years ago, where he received £50,000 to go ahead with this new product made for experienced and new yogis alike ☺️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
The vision:
A tool of Yoga for yoga practice.

The challenge:

Living in a world where the yoga community still looks after the few that fit in the current yoga tradition.

Thierry wants to create a more sustainable beamblock in the future, hence why he dedicated a visit and presented for the engineering and architectural technology departments today, please get in touch if you think you could help him with your ideas ☺️✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’ve been sitting on this branch for the last 30 minutes just enjoying the peaceful tranquillity of the forest. To any of you who are following my tree climbing progress it’s not about how high a tree is to climb but to actually climb a tree safely and navigate the lower branches. It’s a great exercise for the core for the legs arms and back overall are truly over all over body exercise. As with any climb it is getting down the tree which is the most challenging specially in damp weather. #treeman #iclimbtrees #ultimatewarrior #ultimatefitness #vibramfivefingers #brixtonstreetgym #core #woodland #challengeyourself #redefineyourimpossible #livinginthewoods #livinginthemoment #mindfulness

These routines are just a selection of the many I did with only two hours sleep. This was the last exercise making use of my gravity boots giving my spine a great stretch and allowing myself to do inverted stomach crunches. I highly recommend gravity boots to boost your workout and help your spine recovering from stress from exercising. #gravityboots #spinehealth #backhealth #backstretches #spinalstretch #inversionstretch #inversionjunkie #inversioncrunches #stomachcrunches #crunches
