A true nut-and-bolt Porsche restoration goes far beyond what you can see.

Across builds like our Porsche 930 and ST, every system is assessed as a complete assembly. Worn components are replaced, correct original Porsche parts are rebuilt, and even the fasteners, brackets, and supporting hardware are restored to the appropriate specification and finish.

Take the braking system. New discs are only the beginning. Mounting hardware, fasteners, and surrounding components all receive the same attention. Serviceable original parts are restored, while hardware is cleaned, prepared, and zinc-plated to provide corrosion protection and return it to the correct finish.

Because a proper Porsche restoration doesn’t stop with paint, stance, or the surfaces you immediately see. It continues through the brakes, suspension mounts, sub-assemblies, fasteners, and finishes beneath the surface.

Every system considered. Every component accounted for.
That’s what nut-and-bolt restoration means at Banyan Motors.

The modern G Class is an engineering marvel. The original is a design masterpiece.

The G63 and 4x4² are extraordinary machines. Our classic soft top is something different: the narrow proportions, upright windshield, short overhangs and folding roof of the original W460.

At Banyan Motors, we restore these icons with modern mechanical sophistication while preserving their character. Our M113 5.0L V8, Mercedes 5-speed automatic, upgraded drivetrain, brakes, suspension and cooling are developed and tested for dependable performance.

Every vehicle is restored from bare metal, with careful attention to corrosion protection, paint, fit, finish and bespoke interiors.

Not louder or more extravagant. Simply more considered, refined and thoroughly engineered.

Nearly 50 years later, the original G Class remains one of the most beautiful vehicles ever made. We’re proud to build our interpretation of it.

One year since these two said “I do” on a hilltop at Cal-a-Vie. Their three-day wedding weekend brought together family and friends, as well as the most beautiful fall flowers, Jourdan’s incredible wardrobe, an exquisite candlelit dinner in the L’Orangerie and a dance floor that carried us all the way to Chez Childress, their after party. @jourdansloanechildress and Helen, we loved bringing your wedding to life with you both, and would do it again in a heartbeat! So much love and happy first anniversary! 🤍
