In July 2014, the legendary BMX event at Cologne’s Jugendpark celebrated its 30th anniversary! From July 18–20, the park became a major meeting point for the BMX community, attracting riders and huge crowds of spectators who came to be part of this special occasion.
A total of 54 riders competed in the Pro Flatland category, with @dombmx_ Dominik Nekolny taking the win! 🏆

Once again, we had an even bigger sales tent than the previous year. This time, we even had an office container on-site so we could keep our online shop running while taking care of business at the event. 💻📦
One of the absolute highlights was an autograph and photo session with two of the UK’s most famous BMX Park riders: Harry Main and Mark Webb! 🤘📸

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event happen and to all the BMX riders who came out to compete. What an unforgettable weekend! ❤️ #bmxcolonge #kunstform #bmxflatland #harrymain #markwebb

From July 13 to July 15, 2012, the annual BMX Worlds took place once again at the Jugendpark. Compared to previous years, we had set up a full-scale BMX shopping mall this time. Four huge tents stood side by side, covering an area more than 20 meters long. As was often the case during the event, it rained almost continuously throughout those days, so our shop was already packed with customers before opening each morning. Of course, I also competed in the contest, but I only managed to finish in 31st place in the Flatland Pro class. #kunstform #bmx #colonge #bmxworlds #kunstformbmxshop

Still hard to find the right words for what happened over the last three weeks, and especially yesterday, at @flatdupalais.

From day one, you could feel that something special was happening. We saw it at @stadtpalaisstuttgart, in the streets, and especially in our shop. Watching kids discover BMX, get inspired, and fall in love with it right in front of our eyes reminded us exactly why BMX means so much to all of us.

There were challenges, long days, and a lot of hard work behind the scenes. But seeing the crew stay committed to the vision and create such an incredible atmosphere was truly inspiring.

Even with Germany playing football and temperatures close to 40°C, people kept showing up. The finals were packed, the energy was unreal, and the vibe was absolutely unbelievable. It was a perfect example of what BMX is all about.

Huge respect to @fkennethsailer, @ill_segundo and @dustynalt for making this happen, and thank you to all the riders, visitors, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who became part of this story. Special thanks to @stadtpalaisstuttgart for providing such an amazing venue.

And thank you to everyone supporting us. Every order and every visit to our shop helps us give back to BMX and support projects like this.

Events like this remind us that BMX is alive. The passion is real, the community is strong, and we’re just getting started.

See you at the next one. ❤️🔥

@flatdupalais Movie Night was a blast! To be honest, my whole day was an emotional rollercoaster. Seeing the @kunstformbmxshop documentary in full for the first time after putting in countless hours of work was truly relieving! Shout outs to @robinkachfi for the dedication until the very last minute! And thank you all for the kind words, we’re so happy you liked it! 🙏
