A day at Granville Island and spent way too long obsessing over these trees. I wanted to capture how the green, yellow and red leaves layered over each other

Thinking of turning this one into a print, thoughts?

Spent a lot of time in Fort Langley this time around, it’s been my favourite place to draw! @wendelsbc

LOOK at the vibrant pops of orange!!!

A view from the table at @wendelsbc and had some fun with @crayola_canada crayons

More orange!!! 🍂

Observations of a hat rack

Granville Island also makes for some great people-watching

A street performer

Watched this person go from sitting to melting into their seat by the end of their break

@ashman_sidhu on the beach

Sketching day with @art.amberr ! This was so fun 🥺♥️

fort langley: somewhere i’ll always come back to. 🍂

i’ve spent so many afternoons here with family & friends over the years, and it never disappoints. walks along the riverside, little shops worth wandering into and cozy cafés that turn a quick stop into a whole afternoon. but in autumn, it feels especially magical. golden leaves, warm drinks, and a little storybook charm. everything i love about this season, tucked into one town.

saba bistro became a fav when i first visited for brunch back when it opened, and my love for all things saba has only grown. the café, the bistro, the pizzeria. so many good meals and memories were created around their tables.🤎

I started the day yesterday with a plunge @arcticheatretreat & breakfast @sabacafe_ ✨☕️

If you would have told me a few years ago that cold plunging and using the sauna could help fight inflammation and help you sleep better, I would have laughed. But now as a regular there, I will tell you that it’s the one natural thing I do, that I can actually feel my body decompress after. Contrast therapy has been a life saver for my nervous system, and @arcticheatretreat (and the staff there) make each experience there, so relaxing and wonderful.

Then @akauser31 and I went to @sabacafe_ and had the most incredible breakfast. We started with hot beverages, and then each got a meal. The staff were hospitable and the food came quickly. She got the Saba Breakfast and I had the Breakfast Sandwich. And if you can tell by the lack of photo, the food was so phenomenal, it did not last long.

Fort Langley has so much to offer. There are so many wonderful local businesses here to support. There’s everything from @cranberriesnaturally @villageantiquesmall @waldoandtubbs.fortlangley @livingroomfortlangley @floralista @countrylaneantiques @the_gardening_circle @republicaroasters @bellawrendesign and @lees_market to @tap.fort.langley @wendelsbc @groundsandgreenscafe @fortandcompany @emiliarosehomeboutique @beatniksbistro @sababistro_ @wabisabi_langley @fortfamilychiro @masonjarmerchant @fortpub @bardownbakery @trailsend.fortlangley @littlewhitehouseco @intochocolate and @blacksmithbakery

Definitely will also be checking out the @sabapizzeria_ soon. 🍕

If you find yourself out this way, please spend your time here exploring everything, and seeing what all these wonderful places have to offer.
