Had a good time doing a sprint over the past weekend even though my face does not show it. Under 2 hours doing 3.8 miles and 22 obstacles!! Still ready to improve and on to the next one!! #spartanrace #spartan #atlantasprint #stillonthejourney #notquittingnow

Recap of the Saraland Spartan Sprint this past Sunday with some of my Orangetheory Fitness tribe. Although we all ran our own races, it was great to see everyone out there enjoying themselves. The shortened course on Sunday and the warmer weather and sun made for a much different race than Saturday's experience. Hoping Spartan chooses to come back again next year - one of these days I'm going to conquer some of these hanging obstacles!

🎼 On the Third Day of Fitness, Coach Travis gave to me three runs for distance and an evil little Elf with burpees!!! 🎶♩🎵 I truly enjoyed tonight's endurance workout, even if Splats the Elf was hiding at my weight station and added 12 ultimate burpees to my workout. I love how OTF always finds a way to make the workouts extra fun and challenging. It was so much fun working out with "the crew" and one of our favorite coaches!

Mission: Mayhem - Complete.
It's been a long week with a lot of disappointments. I'm grateful to have had these intense workouts to burn off the crazy and to push myself beyond the chaos in my head. I'm even more grateful for the amazing people that have worked out beside me and surrounded me with their strength, both inside and outside of the studio. I survived thousands of meters of long rows, endless squat variations that made my legs feel like jello, ultimate burpees I couldn't count, shoulder burners and death by pop jacks. And I learned a lot. I learned that an hour of hard work can erase hours of frustration. I learned that I can push myself as far as I want to go and only I set my limits. I learned that rolling burpees are actually pretty fun. I learned that partner workouts truly make me want to see others around me succeed. I learned that it's way too hot to work out in pajama pants but Wonder Woman costumes are actually pretty cool. And I learned that although there may be Bedlam, Commotion, Pandemonium, Unrest, Disturbance and even an EPOCalypse, there is peace after. The chaos passes... the storm breaks... the frustration subsides... and life goes on. With each test I get a little stronger and a little more resilient. With each exertion of stress I learn to recover a little better. With each labored breath I learn to breathe a little easier. For every hard thing I put myself through, somehow, somewhere down the line, there will be a reward. Most of all, I learn that I am I am never alone.

Completed the Warrior Dash in Panama City last Saturday. After more than a month of not being in the gym or doing regular workouts due to injury and circumstances with work, this was a nice little "welcome back". 💪🌟🏅

Ran the Pensacola Mud Run with these awesome people from our OTF Pensacola tribe. Even though they cut the course on us by a full two miles we still had a blast. Looking forward to doing it again next year in an earlier wave so we don't miss out on the rest of the fun. I freaking love my tribe!

What an experience Peak Performance Week was these past five days at Orangetheory Fitness. Six months ago I really had no idea what I was capable of or what goals were possible for me to reach. This week I set out with clear goals in mind for each challenge and am so happy that I surpassed them all and even outright crushed some. This place and this tribe has changed me so much over the past 10 months and I am so grateful for every opportunity I have been given, for every coach who has believed in me and pushed me past every limitation I though I had, for every member who has run, rowed or lifted beside me, spurred me on, competed with me and made me enjoy every last second of even the toughest workouts, for every sweaty stranger who has become a friend and work out partner and for every member of this tribe who has truly become family. I can't say it enough: Orangetheory Fitness is so much more than just a gym. It is one of the best and most meaningful jorneys I have ever taken. 💪🌟🍊

Such a fun superhero endurance workout tonight @otfpensacola. I am so grateful and blessed to have a place like this and people like these to belong to. These past 10 months have changed me in so many ways and I know my journey is far from over. My tribe means the world to me and I am continually inspired by every coach and member I encounter. You are all superheroes to me!

Superhero day was such a huge success!! These ladies not only killed the workout, but they are superheroes day in and day out here at otf! They are the definition of hard work and motivation and make me strive for greatness with them. Watching them turn in to athletes right before my eyes!! #superherosday #otfpcola #whatdoyouburnfor #mrincredible #storm #wonderwomen #splatsfordays
