Event day is always a different kind of pressure. From the early morning setup, last minute adjustments and the little things happening behind the scenes, the goal remained the same. To make sure the experience Wendy & Baaqi envisioned was still exactly what they walked into.

We worked with new vendors across almost every aspect of the event, which definitely came with its own moving parts. But watching everyone come together, understand the brief and execute beautifully made it all worth it.

A lot happened behind the scenes, but on the other side of the camera, it was simply a beautiful day, a happy couple and a room full of people having the time of their lives.

From setup to the celebration and all the way to the after party ✨

For Wendy & Baaqi’s Traditional Wedding, the brief was to create a wedding that felt traditional yet contemporary while giving the space an elevated feel.

With bright pops of yellow, pink and green coming through in the guests asoebi, the decor colors had to complement what they were bringing into the room rather than compete with it.

We balanced those vibrant tones with deep burgundy, plum, sage green and blush pink. The richer tones added depth, while the softer shades created harmony and allowed all the colours to flow beautifully together.

The result was a beautiful, colourful wedding experience. A bespoke reflection of what Wendy & Baaqi wanted their wedding to feel like.

There’s something incredibly special about planning a wedding when you’ve had the privilege of watching the love story unfold long before the wedding was ever a thought.

Wendy & Baaqi’s is one of those stories for me.

I’ve watched them grow together, watched their friendship and love evolve over the years, and now, somehow, we’re here planning the moment they officially begin this next chapter together.

For over a year, we’ve been dreaming, planning, putting the pieces together, making adjustments, making more plans 😂 and, most importantly, bringing their vision to life. And honestly, it’s been so much fun doing it with them.
