IT’S A WRAP! 🐒🦒🦩 In Wenqi’s Zoo, a little girl learns to make sense of her changing family through the animal world. As she discovers how wonderfully strange and diverse life can be, she slowly learns to accept the things she cannot understand, and the people she cannot change. We are especially grateful to Shanghai Wild Animal Park (上海野生动物园), one of China’s largest animal parks, home to over 10,000 animals representing more than 200 species, for welcoming us and supporting our filming! What made this collaboration particularly meaningful was our shared curiosity about the diversity of life, and how we might learn to see and understand animals beyond our familiar human perspectives. It was wonderful to work with an animal park that is open to exploring these questions in a deep and professional way. A huge thank you to our incredible cast and crew for bringing this strange little world to life. ❤️ That’s a wrap on filming! Now begins the journey of piecing together Wenqi’s world. We’re entering post-production, and there’s still a long and exciting journey ahead before Wenqi’s story reaches the screen. Stay with us.
